Enough Is Enough, and Not Enough

Udaya R. Tennakoon - TRANSCEND Media Service

What a terrible world,
Innocents’ dreams murder,
where and who a human being lives, so-called
How does the Earth bear?

Power of greed and false symbols
collapsed, decayed, and dwindled
name of God and god of politics
Arrogance of nudity wraps up the idiocy.
point of justice, where the place
I have to rise up

You are my kid, I am so sorry
The burning feeling in my heart heats
To rescue you and to give my hand
Helpless eyes cry for the civilized,
History of Mystery and Misery
Falling the empire of brutality
Killers of peace and butchers of democracy
Making the world for refugees

Failure of system, system of humanity
Building of heaven and kingdom of God
Over the deaths, casuals, and victims
No lessons learned, therefore
It is enough.
Enough is enough, and not enough
If not, crumble a pimple.
Your dirty love and all the nouns and works
Of you language
Destroy the notion.
Being beasts and devils
I am helpless to see you, my kid.
The Feebleness of my arms screams to my mind

Palastinian girl
