Call for Essays: An Anthology on Nonkilling Literature
ANNOUNCEMENTS, 13 Oct 2025
Center for Global Nonkilling - TRANSCEND Media Service
The Center for Global Nonkilling (CGNK) is aiming to compile a new anthology related to Nonkilling Literature to be published in late 2026.
We are now inviting original essays that go beyond answering the question Is nonkilling literature possible? which we began exploring in our Nonkilling Arts Research Committee (NKARC) newsletters to address the Hows and Whys, and gain a deeper understanding of the genre and its subsets.
We hope to receive expressions of interest by 15 November 2025 and draft essay submissions by email by 31 January 2026. Please refer to our webpage call for more details, and email us if you have any questions. We look forward to reading your work!
Nonkillingly yours,
Editors:
Jocelyn Wright, Professor of English Language and Literature, Mokpo National University, jocelynmnu@gmail.com
