Truthful…?

JOKE OF THE WEEK, 16 Jan 2017

Sweden has built a new bridge to an island.  A driver is stopped by the police and told, “Your car is the ten-thousandth to cross this bridge, and we wish to give you an award.  Can you tell me how you plan to use it?”

“First of all I will take some driving lessons to get a license,” says the driver.

“Don’t believe him, he always talks that way when he has been drinking,” says his wife.

“I told you, we won’t get very far in a stolen car,” says grandfather from the back.

I suggest you may have omitted a last line:

A small child shouts from the back: “Who are these people? Please, officer, take me back to my real mama, and papa, and grandpa!”
