The story of Malala Yousafzai, the 16-year old Pakistani activist, is tragic, not because she endured the assassination attempt by the Taliban in 2012, but because her historical narrative has been “misused” for the Western culture war around the world, especially as a propaganda tool for the “war on terror” in the Muslim World (and beyond).
