On Shyness and Inteligence

JOKE OF THE WEEK, 12 Jul 2010

Dietrich Fischer – TRANSCEND Media Service

The people of Minas Gerais in Brazil are said to love cheese.  A man there met a ferry, and she promised to grant him three wishes.  “What is your first wish?” she asked.  “I would like to have a little white, round, soft and flavorful cheese,” he said.  He received it and ate it immediately.  “And what is your second wish?” the ferry asked him.  He asked, “Could I also have a piece of old, hard and well ripened cheese?”  The ferry gave it to him and he ate it with delight.  “What is your third, wish,” the ferry asked.  “I would like to meet a beautiful girl that I can marry.”  The ferry granted him that wish, too.  Then she asked him, “Why did you spend two of your three wishes on cheese!?”  He said, “Because I was too shy to ask for a third cheese.”
