Shortly after the Soviet invasion of Hungary in 1956, Hungary’s interior minister called the prime minister, telling him that his office had been burglarized.
“What did they steal?”, the prime minister wanted to know.
“The results of the next election.”

Three hungry Bulgarian crocodiles were lying in the sun.
One said, “I wish I could eat a young tender child.”
The other one said, “I would prefer to eat a young lady.”
The third said, “I would rather eat a top party official.” The other two wanted to know why.
“They are nicely fat and have no back bone.”
