The Eleventh Hour – Decision Time

R. Teichmann – News Beacon Ireland

It is a well-known fact in biology that pressures of an existential nature on a species result in two possible outcomes. The first outcome is that the species evolves. It adapts by way of biological evolution to the new conditions and survives. The second is that the species does not evolve and thus perishes. This also is the case if it evolves but the time frame is too short to complete the process. Humanity and the web of life are currently facing existential threats in very many ways. Almost all of them are manmade.

Mass extinction is already going on. Extinction is a natural phenomenon, it occurs at a natural “background” rate of about one to five species per year. Scientists estimate we are now losing species at 1,000 to 10,000 times the background rate, with literally dozens going extinct every day. Though new species are also discovered the mass extinction of species is undeniable as we must assume that the most of the newly discovered species were already present  but not yet known. It is thus a matter of time when a collapse of the entire web of life will occur and with it the collapse of the human species. Life will probably continue but it is highly unlikely that the species of the human being will survive this collapse.

Some of the most serious threats are:

• Radiation of the northern hemisphere resulting from the Fukushima disaster

• Poisoning of the oceans resulting from Fukushima, the Gulf Oil spill (Deepwater Horizon), the use of toxic chemicals in agriculture etc.

• Poisoning of the soil by chemicals and pesticides used in corporate agriculture and the ingredients of chemtrails

• Poisoning of the air by industrial emissions, the ingredients of chemtrails, use of depleted Uranium weapons etc.

• Poisoning of the environment with Electro Magnetic Frequencies (EMF)

• The mayhem created in the weather patterns and natural climatic cycles by environmental modification techniques (chemtrails, stratospheric geoengineering, solar radiation management) and environmental warfare

• The danger of a war involving nuclear and biological weapons

Andrew Gavin Marshall sums it up in his article “World of Resistance [WoR] Report, Part 1: The Global Awakening” :

“…never has humanity – collectively – faced such a monumental challenge: a combination of a massive global economic crisis, growing levels of poverty and hunger, tens of millions dying from poverty-related causes every year, massive global land grabs, high-tech police states and surveillance societies, murder by remote control drone terror campaigns, a more distanced decision-making apparatus than perhaps ever before, and an ecological crisis of such proportions that it threatens the very survival of the human species, let alone all other life forms on Earth.”

This is what we are dealing with. It may look very bleak but all of the above is manmade and can therefore also be eliminated by man. However the time we have left to ensure the further existence of human beings on this planet is running out fast. Either we evolve or we perish. It is decision time.

How did it come to this?

In a previous article titled “Learning from indigenous wisdom and knowledge – To change society a cultural revolution in activism is needed” I wrote:

“Since humanity replaced tribes with ever larger entities of social organisation, comprising more and more humans, the isolation of the individual human has increased……..Hand in hand with this development came the concentration of power in fewer and fewer hands. Instead of being involved directly in decision making and implementing we now have a vote. A vote that changes nothing. Many begin to realize this as the ever decreasing participation in elections indicates. The real power people once had has migrated to career politicians who are lobbied and sometimes financed by big corporations, which are financed by “too big to fail” banks, which are financed by central banks, which are controlled by a tiny elite who make all the vital decisions behind closed doors.”

Once this elite had established power they started to transform this planet into their fiefdom. How this was possible and how the elite ruled and rules from behind the scenes is very well explained in Richard Moore’s article “New World Order – The endgame has begun”. We are now facing the results of their reign.

The exchange of knowledge and opinion enabled by new technologies has resulted in the awakening of millions. Zbigniew Brzezinski, one of the Elite’s foremost strategists (former U.S. National Security Advisor, Co-Founder of the Trilateral Commission, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Center for Strategic and International Studies), stated:

“For the first time in human history almost all of humanity is politically activated, politically conscious and politically interactive… The resulting global political activism is generating a surge in the quest for personal dignity, cultural respect and economic opportunity in a world painfully scarred by memories of centuries-long alien colonial or imperial domination… [The] major world powers, new and old, also face a novel reality: while the lethality of their military might be greater than ever, their capacity to impose control over the politically awakened masses of the world is at a historic low. To put it bluntly: in earlier times, it was easier to control one million people than to physically kill one million people; today, it is infinitely easier to kill one million people than to control one million people.”

The emergence of worldwide movements is the result of this awakening. Here are just some of them:

• The environmental movement with all its various facets (conservation, anti-fracking, animal rights, anti-GMO, anti-nuclear, organic farming, permaculture, sustainable energy)

• The peace movement

• The movement for natural medicine

• The movement for economic justice for the developing countries

Millions of people worldwide are engaged in these movements. But it is not only the new technologies and the exchange of knowledge that created these movements. There is more to this.

The hidden force

Wherever we look in nature we cannot fail to notice that balance is a main characteristic of everything. We find it between prey and predator, between high pressure and low pressure in the atmosphere, between the opposite charges of the particles in the atom, between the left and right side of any mathematical equation we use in science to describe our reality, between the left and right hemispheres of our brain. Without balance of the frequencies or vibrations which hold the atoms in place and thus create reality, we and everything around us would not exist. Without balance between the left and right hemispheres of our brain we could not function. The Asian symbol of Yin and Yang is a beautiful depiction of this balance. When this balance is disturbed a force is created at the same instant to restore it. The greater the disturbance the greater is the force created. We are living in a time where there is a major disturbance of this balance all around us and within us too.

Most of us are perceiving our reality from an individual, isolated viewpoint. The fragmentation of knowledge, science and society and the domination of society by one gender or a tightly knit group of powerful individuals stem from this. This was not always the case. Indigenous people all over the world still hold on to a holistic all encompassing worldview and do not buy into the fragmented view now so dominant in ‘modern’ civilisation. It is no coincidence that they are at the forefront of many movements who oppose the ongoing destruction of this planet. The abandonment of this holistic view has led to the establishment of the elite and the emergence of the problems we are facing as a result. We and generations before us have been conditioned for millenia to accept being ruled by others instead of ourselves. This was only possible by separating us from the knowledge that we and all other life are intimately connected to this planet and the universe as a whole. To be aware of this fact is what one may call being spiritual.

The awakening that Zbigniew Brzezinski spoke of  (“For the first time in human history almost all of humanity is politically activated, politically conscious and politically interactive…”) is not happening by chance or only because of the arrival of “the technotronic era”. This awakening and the emergence of global movements are the manifestation of the universal tendency to restore balance. This is a very encouraging thought. But can these movements be successful if they are only acting in the political sphere (as per Brzezinsky)?

A new understanding

“We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.”
– attributed to Albert Einstein

Those who are taking steps through activism are re-discovering their power. The forces of nature and the universe are backing their efforts. But it is very easy to derail these efforts or use them to advance power and domination agendas. Those few profiteering from the disturbance of balance and endangering life on earth doing it, have ample experience in manipulation. The term of ‘social engineering’ signifies that they are now manipulating us in a ‘scientific’ manner.  If we understand our efforts as a power struggle we will be acting on the same level as they do. We would have the same kind of thinking, only that this time it would be our views and agendas that would dominate. The concept of class struggle and dictatorship of the proletariat as expressed in Marxist Philosophy would be an example. Though very helpful in the early stages of capitalism to understand the underlying mechanisms it is now outdated. The crisis we are facing encompasses everyone and everything. Efforts to resolve it cannot be reduced to a class struggle any longer.  Rich or poor, priviliged or marginalized, over-fed or hungry, animal or plant – all is affected. The concept of power struggles is also the reason that efforts in the past have not succeeded. They essentially replaced one system of domination with a different one under a different name. We have to evolve to a better understanding in order to solve our problems.

The re-discovery of a holistic worldview (aka our spirituality) is neccessary because it is a reliable tool to judge whether we are on the right track or not. We are all born with this compass to find our way through life but we have been separated from it. In these times when it has become so difficult to tell genuine information from propaganda, information from dis-information, rightful movements from socially engineered movements, the re-discovery of this compass is becoming more vital than ever to the successful outcome of any action we take. It is the inner voice that tells us if we are on the right track. If something resonates deep within us that is the guidance we are looking for.

There are two ways to regain this capability. One is by taking action and discovering through failure after failure that something is missing. This can be a long and arduous way and many have lived a life of activism without ever coming to the conclusion that something is missing or without even asking whether it might. Most of these good people are found in the so called ‘left’ or ‘progressive’ spectrum.

The other way to regain this capability is most often practiced by people found in the so called ‘spiritual’ or ‘esoterical’ spectrum. They arrive there by practices like contemplation, meditation or yoga. But often they are so engaged in trying to get ‘enlightened’ that they forget that their action is called for. This desire is even used by the elite to keep them occupied ‘searching’.

Evolving towards a holistic approach

The challenge is now becoming clear.

Those who come from the ‘left’ or ‘progressive’ viewpoint and do not believe in the ‘spiritual mumbo-jumbo’ have to question their approach and ask themselves why after so many revolutions we have ended up where we are now. They have to ask the question if something is missing in their efforts. They should consider reflecting on and opening up to knowledge of another kind than just rational thinking. After all humans are made of more than just thoughts and rational analysis.

For those coming from the ‘spiritual’ side it is high time to respond to the cry for help from our mother earth and to engage actively in efforts to preserve her. Julian Rose put it like this in his article “At the Point of No Return”:

“We are ‘of nature’ not above or outside it. We go forth and we return. That is the Tao. Universal forces all dance to this tune. Breath, ocean waves, cycles of birth and death, growth and decay, all is in motion and at rest, all the time. There is no contradiction. Outward action and inward contemplation are two halves of one whole. They are synonymous. One should move between the two constantly and joyously.”

“When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty”

“Well, injustice has become law – yet resistance remains doggedly muted and the search for an escape route remains the preferred option. Cultivate spirit, wisdom and deep awareness – yes. Yet not as an alternative to toppling our oppressors from their corporate thrones, but as part of it.”

The amount of synergy that will be created if these two distinct directions merge and learn from each other could be tremendous. By coming together in the process of jointly resisting we can create the new. We have to dump overboard both – outdated dogmas and the belief that we can find individual peace, harmony or enlightenment when everything around us falls apart and is being destroyed. We have to leave behind the concept of struggle and let our actions be guided by deep compassion, not hate. We have to view everything we do as part of a global effort to return to balance by removing from power those who seek domination of any sort. It is in this process that we can develop and find ways to end domination in all its forms. It is in this process of creating the new that we will heal our planet and ourselves. The first step always must be taken individually but we can only be successful together and in unison with the universe. To those already underway I say “Open up!”  and to everyone else “Take the first step however small it may seeem” in accordance with whatever resonates with you.

The eleventh hour is here – doing nothing is no longer an option. We must evolve to a higher level of understanding and acting or become extinct.
