Francisco Gomes de Matos – TRANSCEND Media Service

Rhymed Reflections

In a world of  -isms we live:
some -isms make us  sad,
other -isms  make  us  glad

Among the positive -isms in which Humankind can excel
there is one which  has to do  with treating others well

Such -ism  is  a  deep, true  -ism
What is it called:  ALTRUISM

Being altruistic calls for humility
It is a commitment to serving Humanity

ALTRUISM  Humankind`s selflessness enhances
By acting altruistically, as DIGNIFIERS a community advances

ALTRUISM  is more than a top-priority global need:
It is both a life-improving force and a spiritually strengthening seed
