7 Feb 2016 – The situation today concerning involvement of youth in violence all over the world is not better than about the 40 years ago in 1977 when the author of these lines Dr. Surya Nath Prasad gave a talk on the topic: As our Elders, So our Youngers at All India Radio, Varanasi in India on 22 November, 1977 at 5.30 p.m., and among other things in his talk he told, “If sons and daughters misbehave with their parents, students are indisciplined towards teachers, youth laugh at religious preachers and agitate against rulers and political leaders, we must have doubt on faulty characters of these elders rather than our youngsters.” Recently, Dr. Prasad received a letter from Ms Mira Purn, Coordinator, Isa Viswa Prajnana Trust & Global Energy Parliament requesting him to send his Message for the All India Students Energy Parliament scheduled to be held on 25 February, 2016 at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala in India. Below cited text is the Message of Dr. Prasad. The readers may enjoy by reading it and be enlightened.

A Message to All India Students Energy Parliament

It is a matter of great pleasure and high appreciation that the Isa Viswa Prajnana Trust in collaboration with the State Institute of Languages, Government of Kerala is organizing the Global Energy Parliament’s All India Students Energy Parliament at the Old Assembly Hall, State Secretariat, Thiiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India on February 25, 2016 on the theme: Total Education – the vision of Jagadguru His Holiness Swami Isa.

Ignorance is the cause of all misery. Today at the time of terror and violence everywhere in the world, the Total Education is the urgent need for the people of all over the world. Total Education is the only means for preservation for sustainable peace, prevention from violence and war, and cure for victims of injustice. Hence education in all and education for all is a must for good governance and peace. Education in all means education in all the five elements (viz. body, vitality, mind, intellect and spirit) which constitute every man and woman without any discrimination everywhere. Education for all means all men and women, young and old, rich and poor leaving none.

Youth and peace are synonymous. Youth is for peace. Peace is fully supported, protected, safe and secure in the hands of youth. They need only healthy examples of elders, particularly parents, teachers, religious preachers, rulers and political leaders, judges and bureaucrats, and total education in place of partial education for good governance and to be peaceful.

I hope the GEP All-India Students Energy Parliament will bring fruitful Resolutions on “Total Education” for decision-makers, all governments and the United Nations.           .

I wish the Parliament all success.

Education is important on any issue. But without action to forward justice, being informed makes little difference. make sure your policy makers are informed about changes needed in the UN to bring liberty and justice for all. Then maybe we will know peace. http://www.globalsecurityjusticegovernance.org/
Then take any action needed to fulfill on the COmmission’s recommendations.
