Não vejo como ser tímido pode ser tão ruim. Muito do que faço na minha vida tem justamente a timidez como motriz. As pessoas subestimam a timidez quando a relacionam apenas aos aspectos negativos da vida em sociedade. Pessoas tímidas naturalmente ouvem mais e observam mais. Também refletem muito.

Kafka, por exemplo, era tímido, e sua força literária tinha relação com a sua timidez. Hermann Hesse, William Faulkner, Edgar Allan Poe, Marcel Proust, Emily Dickinson, Emily Brontë, George Bernard Shaw, Hunter Thompson e Nathaniel Hawthorne também eram tímidos. São nomes que hoje ocupam posição de destaque na literatura mundial. Logo ser tímido não é uma forma de fracasso.
