Dr. Ravi P. Bhatia – TRANSCEND Media Service

Life for most of us today has incredible types of varieties or ups and downs
We have different physical conditions — coldest and hottest regions
Don’t forget the wettest and the driest place in the same nations
Weather conditions – daylight, temperatures vary from nation to nation.

People have different looks and sizes in the world — even in one country
We can see different features — Chinese Tibetan, negroid in people in India
Many natives from Africa had come to India in the past hundreds of years
There are tall, thin folks — running like athletes and rejuvenating those eras

Physical features apart, culturally, artistically and architecturally,
There are differences galore between Europe and India
In the west there is ballroom for men and women dancing together
In addition there is the ballet dance generally for women artistes.

In India dozens of dance forms for women and men are on test
People of Kerala have their own distinctive dance form
The state of Panjab has a robust Bhangra  dance form
People express their joy after a rich agricultural harvest

Similarly music forms — both vocal and instrumental are varied
One can applaud the artist who calls upon talents that are buried

An important activity is agriculture that varies from region to region
Some produce wheat others rice, varied forms of vegetables and dal
Fishing and meat from different animals also show regional variation
Many people prefer vegetarian diets; the milk shows fine distinction

Have we seen the ferocious lions and tigers — maybe not in jungles
But in videos of these animals, we are often frightened by the roaring lions
Elephants in India are huge but peaceful — often allow tourists to ride them
The camels of regions like Rajasthan are also popular and tourists like them

Sports and games are for young — also the rich elderly who play golf
Don’t forget the card games for the rich — making or losing wealth

Indian children especially the poor, play gulli danda or keekli
There are universal games like football, basketball and hockey
Cricket was a British game is now becoming popular in many regions
Different forms of cricket — for 5 or 3 days, even the day night forms

Its not only games or sports — industry  produces many products
Many villagers or the poor employed in industry for a decent living
Not to forget the railways — some trains running as fast as jet planes
And the Metro trains which make you forget your difficulties or by-lanes

Technology that produce huge cars or bikes running like mad
Also kitchenware, computers TVs or mobile phones making us glad

I can go on and on my friends to dwell on these different aspects
Today I am inviting you to know the ancient and modern prospects
