Trump has announced the commencement of major U.S. military combat operations against Iran, citing an “imminent threat” to American national security and global allies. In a prime-time address, he confirmed that the U.S. military is currently engaged in a massive operation to dismantle Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, neutralize its naval capabilities, and destroy its long-range missile industry. He issued a direct ultimatum to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to surrender or face “certain death.” As U.S. forces engage targets across the region, Trump also called upon the Iranian people to seize their “hour of freedom” and reclaim their government.
