The recent declaration by Macron, Merz, and Starmer, portraying the attacked state of Iran as the aggressor and even threatening it with military action, risks a reasonable European response. The EU must anchor its policies in principles of international law and the Charter of the UN. For this reason, we respectfully request that you convene a special session of the European Parliament.
