COMMENTARY ARCHIVES, 14 Sep 2008

The lesson of a weakenedcapacity to fund healthcare, education, our children’s futures. Thelesson that democracy is diminished as the secrecy of the warmakingstate expands. The lesson of being hated in a world where alliances area necessity, not a choice.
