Kill for Peace

Tom Greening - TRANSCEND Media Service

Some soldiers do not like to kill—
not for the glory or the thrill.
But do not fret—relax, for now
psychologists can teach them how.
There is a shrink, a clever man,
who knows wise ways by which we can
use modern means to mold and train
a balky coward’s squeamish brain.
We will our destiny fulfill
when our brave soldiers love to kill.
