(Castellano) Unesco Reconoce Obra del Che Guevara y la Incluye en la “Memoria del Mundo”

El registro de la Memoria del Mundo comprende casi 300 documentos y colecciones de los cinco continentes, los trabajos de Guevara figuran entre las 54 nuevas adiciones de este año.

La Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Educación, la Ciencia y la Cultura (Unesco, por su sigla en inglés) reconoció la obra del líder revolucionario Ernesto “Che” Guevara y la incluyó en la lista de la “Memoria del Mundo”, en la que se protege como patrimonio mundial.

Se trata de un patrimonio que incluye textos originales y en el que se encuentra, entre otras cosas, el diario que llevaba en las montañas de Bolivia, donde fue ultimado por militares en 1967.

El registro de la Memoria del Mundo comprende casi 300 documentos y colecciones de los cinco continentes, los trabajos de Guevara figuran entre las 54 nuevas adiciones de este año.

En el acto de inclusión, celebrado este viernes en La Habana (capital de Cuba), estuvieron presentes la familia del legendario guerrillero y representantes del Gobierno cubano.

Aleida Guevara, hija del Ché, indicó que los textos, que serán preservados para las nuevas generaciones, brindarán la posibilidad de conocer a su padre no solo como dirigente y político sino también como ser humano, que sabía reír y amar.

En un discurso de agradecimiento leído en la antigua comandancia del Che en la Fortaleza de La Cabaña en La Habana, Aleida Guevara recordó que muchas veces se han adjudicado a su padre frases que él no pronunció, e insistió en la importancia de respetar la historia y su legado.

Creado en 1997, el Registro de la Memoria del Mundo del programa de la Unesco tiene el objetivo de preservar el patrimonio documental de la humanidad y en su inventario cuenta con variados soportes que van desde la piedra y el pergamino a las grabaciones audiovisuales.
