Not a War Criminal

Tom Greening – TRANSCEND Media Service

Like Julius Streicher,
I’ve never killed anyone.
He was a Nazi newspaperman
hanged at Nuremburg
for portraying Jews as evil.
I’ve never done that to Iraqis.
On the other hand,
I am also not a refusenik
like Henry David Thoreau.
I’m just a taxpayer
helping pay for a war
that costs us $3,742 per second.
Some accounting genius tells me
that so far I’ve paid about $6,300
to help Bush kill people,
but where’s the proof?
Please don’t put me on trial later–
I’m only obeying the law.
