Peace May Come

Tom Greening – TRANSCEND Media Service

From what I have seen of the human race
I calculate that peace may come to the world
when about ten people are left,
and they are very tired
and out of ammunition.

I hope they will have some food left
and drinkable water.

How long that peace will last
is hard to predict,
but may depend upon
whether they have become capable
of learning anything from experience,
and whether love can survive
massive radiation.
