The Jump

JOKE OF THE WEEK, 1 Dec 2014

Dietrich Fischer – TRANSCEND Media Service

George W. Bush and Dick Cheney were watching TV in the evening. A young man stood atop a skyscraper at the edge of the roof. Cheney bet that he would jump, and Bush said, “No, I don’t think he will jump.”

After some hesitation, the man jumped down. Bush paid to Cheney. Cheney had a bad conscience and said,

“Actually, I watched TV earlier this afternoon, and I saw already that he would jump.”

Bush said, “I also saw TV this afternoon, but I did not think that he would jump a second time.”
