French Pres. Charles De Gaulle got up in the middle of the night and went to the bathroom in the dark, wearing nothing.
When he returned, his wife heard some noise, switched the light on, looked at him in shock and screamed, “My God!”
De Gaulle said to her, “Thank you, but it is enough if you call me ‘My General.'”
[It is well known the fact that the only person in the world who called Gen. De Gaulle by his first name, Charles, was his wife.]
