Today we need love,
As the best reward,
When blood is poured everywhere,
Waterfalls of discords are buzzing!
Today we need to save the world
From hatred, evil, violence.
Flowers should bloom now, not fading…
Today we need love, in order to survive.
The war will not solve problems!
Learn to find the joy catching a ray of light.
Today we need love,
Or there will be no more dawns at all!

Dr. Adolf P. Shvedchikov is a Russian scientist, poet and translator. He has published over 150 scientific papers and 16 books in poetry. His poems has been translated into many languages and has been published in Russia, USA, Brazil, India, Japan, Korea, Spain, France, Greece, UK, Italy, Romania, Albania and Australia.
