12 Features Zionist Israel Shares with Nazi Germany

Maung Zarni – TRANSCEND Media Service

16 May 2018 – Sally, an American Jewish journalist friend of mine wrote this very powerful personal reflection – brutally honest and incisive.  Another American friend – my adopted American sister really whose family enabled me to come to USA to study 30 years ago – asked me if I was penning anything that draws the apt parallel between Israel’s slow genocide  of the Palestinians and my own “Buddhist” Myanmar’s  slow-burning genocide of the Rohingyas.
Then my friend Mazin who lives in the Occupied Palestine sent around his blog – http://popular-resistance.blogspot.com/2018/05/signs-of-end-of-civilization-and-signs.html  – pained and compassionate, outraged and clinging onto hope and renewal – where he wrote:

The signs of an end are so many and they are mostly related to the behavior of the rogue regimes of Israel and te USA: the efforts to challenge climate change, collapse of disarmament deals (first with Russia then with Iran), stealing a city from its people to gift it to immigrant European Jews and celebrating that theft (bad as it is it is horrible when it is related to the most sacred of cities: Jerusalem), massacres and ongoing genocide in Gaza that two million are subjected to (mostly refugees), governments that no longer even pretend to care about human rights or international law. In fact, one sees that most governments support apartheid and ethnic cleansing. I could go on. But there are also signs of hope and struggle.

I have risked friendship, ties with colleagues, activist and professional opportunities and support for my work because I take a principled and compassionate – as opposed to calculating and unprincipled – stance on Israel’s decades of oppression – which I KNOW is genocidal in essence.

Several years ago, I spoiled the entire exclusive party held as an invitation only fundraiser for Haifa University held at Lanesborough, an unmarked posh Knightsbridge hotel across the roundabout from Intercontinental (Hyde Park).   The deposed Thai Prime Minister Thaksin’s British Jewish Lawyer Robert Amsterdam was the co-host, and I was his guest.

The guest of honour for the banquet was Chair of the Haifa University Board of Trustees, who headed Israel’s secret intelligence service, Shin Bet (watch Spielberg movie “Munich” to know what it is and what it does).  At the long shiny mahogany table, I was seated  right diagonally across from the former Assassin-in-Chief and ex-Admiral, our guest of honest for the evening.  Between him and I were a beautifully arranged flower basket as you would expect from such high society function.

As the flowers soothed my eyes, the words of the Guest of Honours, which emanated absolute disregard for the oppressed Palestinians whose ancestral land the Zionists had robbed on grounds of the several-thousand years old Old Testament.  (It is not dissimilar to China making the quasi-biblical claims for the ownership of the Sea which the British and others refer to, misleading as “South China Sea” in blatant disregard  of universally accepted international law and treaty regarding the planet’s seas and oceans.)

There were no Palestinians at the fancy closed doors event, and I was the only non-Zionist or non-supporter of the Zionist Project.

When the Guest of Honour finished his speech about 2-state versus 1-state paradigms and his express fear of the Arabs and “demographic time bomb”  (Palestinian population outnumbering the Israeli Jews, in due course, that is), I looked into his eyes and asked the question, with a voice as resolute and stern as humanly possible:

“Excuse me, Sir.  As I understand it, the modern State of Israel was founded on the principle of “THE RIGHT OF RETURN” – can you not extend that right to the displaced Palestinians?”

The room went dead-silent.   One could hear the hair pin drop.  All the beautiful smiles and hospitable Hello’s disappeared. I felt the room’s temperature had dropped dramatically to an ice room in a sauna complex.  The ex-admiral’s face turned red, and I could tell he was hopping mad.

I said all that I felt needed to be said – in solidarity of the oppressed, the oppressed at the hands of the Zionists for decades.   I felt as if I had just unloaded 2 gallons of suppressed urine in my bladder at a movie theatre.

I simply sat back and waited for what I anticipated was a rage-filled, vile, inhumane verbal blow.

Sure enough, the Haifa Trustee Chair did NOT disappoint me.  He angrily shouted from across the table, “You know what?  I don’t give a damn about justice or fairness.”

I got your point, Sir. No need to elaborate, I thought to myself as I sat stone-faced.

Truth must be uttered and uttered loudly, particularly in a setting or context whose functioning depends on Lies and their normalization.

I made myself an Honorary Palestinian, a member of Fanon’s Wretched of the Earth.  I made myself proud, proud that I was capable of feeling the powerful mix of rage-compassion for the oppressed.  More important, I was capable of acting on that mix, rather than sitting through wearing a fake smile as if the Zionist Israel’s Genocide was business as usual.

I have long felt the pains of the genocided Jews – and Sinti, Romas, Communists, Homosexuals, Poles – but primarily Jews, because that was what I learned about the Holocaust in the Burmese version of history textbook in my 7th Grade year and onward.

Later at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, having been taught the historical method by a former American interrogator of Nazi SS officers in Berlin, I developed a keen interest in the inhumanity of man – I must add WOMAN as well –  over man (and woman).     Here is my late teacher’s work on SS:

Years later when I visited concentration camps, most particularly Auschwitz, I ran my brown hands on some section of the rows of wooden bunk “beds” – really cage-like structures – where Nazi inmates were meant to die slowly after having been extracted free labour.  In this one particular women’s barrack at Birkenau (Auschwitz II) , I split with my tour group, took time to rub the beds all covered in the thick layer of dust, wishing that my genuinely loving hands would touch the poor souls of Jewish women who were simply left in this barrack to die – without a drop of water to drink, not to mention solid food.

Coming from this place of deep human compassion, I am extremely outraged that a State that was built on the manipulation and capitalization of the horror tales of nearly 6 million Jews who perished in the hands of the Nazis have eventually morphed into Nazi-like creatures themselves, with human’s exteriors – just like you and me.

Today the equal numbers of Zionist victims exist in diaspora – 6 million Palestinians.

And there are 3 million plus Syrians whose death, displacement and dispossession the Zionist strategists have looked on with satisfaction:  Iran’s proxy Syria must be depopulated and destabilized so goes the inhuman rationale.

The same Zionist state also supplies weapons to my country’s genocidal armed forces run by my old “friends” in the highest echelon of the Command.  I saw my old friend, #3 ranking general, accompanying his Commander in Chief Senior General Min Aung Hlaing who was on a state visit to Israel, looking at the arms factories and entertaining purchase of more weapons.

Alas, birds of the same feather!

My final thought on Israel and the unmistakable genocide – at the excruciatingly slow pace – is the following:

post-Auschwitz no state is stupid enough to build Gas Chambers and purpose-built concentration camps like Himmler’s SS did starting in 1936.

The Zionist Israel, Buddhist Myanmar which was my birth place and for which I would have given up my life in my previous incarnation as “patriot” and Nazi Germany they all have common features they share.

In particular, as painful and politically incorrect as it is, Zionist Project of Israel is, broadly speaking, very much like the Final Solution of the Third Reich.

Extermination of the target group (s), at different speeds,  in a different epoch, under different circumstances, but EXTERMINATION, no less.

On a visit to Ravesbruick, 2006.

Here is the list of common features Israel and the Third Reich share, unmistakably:

12 Factors That Zionist Israel Shares with Nazi Germany:

What do Zionist Israeli and Nazi Germany have in common? More than you think.

  • The states’ foundational exclusionary, racist ideologies
  • Absolute disregard for the Right of Others to exist as equal
  • Assault on the identity of respective groups – Jews and Palestinians
  • Indiscriminate massacres
  • Devastation of lives by the millions, by different means
  • The heavy reliance on weapons technologies (drone-delivered gas, e.g.,)
  • Typical Victim mentality
  • Collective Arrogance and Conceit of Superiority
  • Institutionalised Paranoia
  • Disregard for Human Life, beyond its own kind
  • Blatant Propaganda
  • Self-Destructive Policies, Practices and Institutions

This is a picture I took of the picture that hangs on the wall of the museum of the largest women’s camp at Ravensbruck Death Camp.

The souls of the nearly 6-millions Jewish victims of the Holocaust must not be at rest, I can imagine, as long as the Zionists continue on with its version of Final Solution with respect the Palestinians.

They would, furthermore, feel extremely pained that the State built on their ashes, tales of pains and horrors has morphed into, or simply conceived along the lines of the Third Reich of Hitler, Goebbels, Himmler and Eichman.
