A tourist’s car broke down in a small village.
The driver found a local mechanic who looked at the motor, turned one screw, and the car worked again.
He charged €100 for the repair. The tourist found this excessive and demanded an itemized bill.
It said, “Turning a screw, 50 cents. Known where, $99.50.”
