A Multidimensional View
Children for FAMILY PEACE let’s globally educate
and show them how everyone´s character to elevate
Children for SCHOOL PEACE let’s prepare
and show them how for one another to care
Children for SPORTS/ATHLETICS PEACE let’s sensitize
and show them the need for mutual respect to prioritize
Children to INTERNATIONAL PEACE let’s commit
and show them how political/spiritual differences to admit
Children with ECONOMIC PEACE let´s imbue
and show them how to one another give their due
Children in PEACEFUL COMMUNICATION let´s engage
and show them how to harmonize with persons of any age
Children to multiple forms of PEACE let´s creatively expose
and show them how a MULTIDIMENSIONAL PEACE they can help propose

Francisco Gomes de Matos, Ph.D. is an applied peace linguist from Recife, Brazil. He has degrees in Languages, Law, and Linguistics. He is Professor Emeritus at the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco where he is active in the Dom Hélder Camara Human Rights Commission. He is one of the pioneers in Linguistic Rights (author of 1984 Plea for a Universal Declaration of Linguistic Rights) and in the emerging area of Peace Linguistics.
