When God created the various countries, he used some balance; each country got some advantages and some disadvantages. Saudi Arabia got plenty of oil but also plenty of sand. Ireland got green meadows and sheep but also a cool and moist climate. Switzerland got beautiful mountains but little cultivable land and no natural resources. Canada got beautiful mountains, plenty of arable land and rich natural resources.
A Canadian asked God, “Where is the downside?”
God replied, “Just wait until you see whom you will get as neighbor.”
