CNN – TRANSCEND Media Service

CNN Documentary – In June 2010, a CNN team documented the situation of Roma communities in Romania. These images are from Ferentari (a Roma dominated ghetto area in Bucharest) and Ocolna (a Roma inhabited village near Craiova in the south of Romania), where people struggle to make a living on less than one dollar a day. Depicting tragic life stories, it highlights the public authorities’ failure in tackling Roma marginalization.
