21 nov 2018 – Aos 78 anos, o ex-baterista dos The Beatles, Ringo Starr, disse em entrevista à revista Rolling Stone que o segredo para se manter jovem e saudável é não consumir carne e se exercitar.

Segundo Ringo, que está lançando o seu novo livro de fotos, Another Day in the Life, e se preparando para a turnê de 30 anos do projeto Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band, uma boa dieta vegetariana e a realização periódica de atividades físicas o mantêm ativo.

Ringo Starr, que abdicou do consumo de carne depois de assistir a uma tourada na Espanha, revelou que costuma consumir brócolis em cada uma de suas refeições. Antes o músico já havia declarado ao Daily Mail que consumir cenoura, que é uma boa fonte de betacaroteno, também o ajuda a se manter saudável e jovem.
