A doctor met his lawyer friend at a party and lamented to him that when he was at a party people would ask him for advice on what to do about their illnesses. He asked the lawyer whether he could bill them for such advice. The lawyer told him that it was unethical to bill people with whom he spoke at a party. The next morning, the doctor received a bill from the lawyer for his consultation!

A lawyer entered a butcher store with his dog. The dog stole a sausage and ran away. The butcher asked the lawyer,

“Now who is going to pay for the sausage?”

“That will be my responsibility, of course,” said the lawyer.

The butcher said,

“Alright, that is what I thought. It will be three Euros.”

The lawyer retorted,

“Fine, then you owe me only seven Euros, because I charge my clients ten Euros for petty legal advice.”
