She looks at me with those big green eyeballs
A type of snowy beard to match the emerald eyes.
No one owns her!
No one knows her name!
She stares at me from dawn till night fall.
O but she does visit everyday
Has found a place of rest.
And made herself a permanent guest!
No one loves her, so she secretly visits.
Delicately she reclines on the wooden floor.
Her velvety paws and whiskers settled,
Like so many times I have seen before.
Looks like a pet cat one sees in pictures.
She has no fish or mice
My home is her paradise
In her emerald eyes,
It doesn’t matter that she is unwanted or stray.
She is God`s creature, striped in grey
who’s come to stay.
I don’t have the heart to send her away.
