    One way to “break the patterns” that “are no longer serving” would be to cease living by memes, and start thinking about, and discussing, serious Art and Literature! (Like in the “good old days,” before TV, cinema and social media nonsense!) A good place to linger a while, pause and consider, would be Amy Lowell’s first-rate love and antiwar poem, “Patterns.”
