Asia-Pacific NATO: Fanning the Flames of War (SHAPE Webinar)

Richard Falk, Joseph Camilleri and Chandra Muzaffar | SHAPE - TRANSCEND Media Service

I encourage attendance at this webinar under the auspices of SHAPE (Saving Humanity and Planet Earth), on July 4 or 5, depending on time zone, devoted to encroachment of NATO on Asia-Pacific security, with excellent speakers. Go to website of SHAPE PROJECT for details.”

— Richard Falk

More than 30 years after the end of the Cold War, hopes for a more rational, humane and peaceful world seem to many a distant memory.

Competition and confrontation dominate the new discourse of international relations. Military threats and counter threats occupy center stage. The Ukraine war has brought Europe back to the trenches, the United States and China are at loggerheads, tensions across Asia-Pacific have never been higher.

Is this cause for despair? We don’t think so. This is a time of opportunity, a time for new ideas, new energies and  possibilities. This is the purpose of the webinar that SHAPE is hosting on 4th or 5th July, depending on your location.

To help generate a positive exchange of ideas and aspirations are four outstanding guests from China, South Korea, the United States and Australia.

We would love you to be with us for this memorable occasion. Please extend this invitation to friends and colleagues, regardless of their views. It’s an ideal opportunity to widen the circle of conversation. Such conversations can pave the way for positive transformative change.

With best wishes,

Richard Falk, Joseph Camilleri, Chandra Muzaffar – SHAPE Conveners
