Save the Dates for Whistleblowers Summit & Film Festival and Legacy Tribute to Dan Ellsberg

Our beloved Dan Ellsberg will be honored at the Whistleblower Summit where he gave the keynote address and received the Pillar Award in 2021. We would not be as vibrant a community without him and are eternally grateful. Dan is considered the father of whistleblowers, and has also acted as a father to whistleblowers as he has personally nurtured those going through the trauma of retaliation and inspired all of us.
Note: The Ellsberg family is planning the official memorial for Dan in October. This tribute is part of the Whistleblower Summit, organized on short notice in time for National Whistleblower Day, is one of many tributes that are being planned by many who have been touched by Dan.

6:30 Tribute to Dan Ellsberg’s legacy, an educational, inspirational walk through history with personal witnesses to Dan’s evolution, weaving in themes of truth-telling, moral courage, and whistleblowing, from his nuclear awakening through Harvard, Viet Nam, RAND, Pentagon papers and beyond. We will honor Dan as the father of whistleblowers as well as a father to whistleblowers, featuring generations of grateful truth tellers, inspired and nurtured by Dan.

8:30 Film The Most Dangerous Man in America
Please invite young people to learn about Dan’s legacy for them.
The tribute will feature a walk through history, with pivotal moments in Dan’s evolution as a whistleblower, as told by Dan’s friends and personal witnesses throughout his life. Then we will recognize subsequent whistleblower who were supported by Dan.
