Israel’s U.N. Ambassador Gilad Erdan had strong words for U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres: “I think that the Secretary General must resign.” He was referring to Guterres’ speech to the UN Security Council yesterday, when he said it was ‘important to also recognize the attacks by Hamas did not happen in a vacuum’ and that the Palestinian people had been ‘subjected to 56 years of suffocating occupation.’
