Raïs Neza Boneza – TRANSCEND Media Service

A friend, a father, a mentor to many,
His wisdom transcended, like a beacon, so plenty.
As the founding father of Peace studies,
He nurtured minds, spreading love and unity.

The founder of Peace sciences, his legacy grand,
A guiding light for those who seek to understand.
Oh, what a gift to the world he did bestow,
Yet, politicians and diplomats failed to truly know.

Sadness fills our hearts as we bid him adieu,
For the loss of such a soul, we deeply rue.
Drawing from the Gandhian way , his name shall forever stand,
In the annals of history, a true peacemaker, so grand.

Though the Nobel Peace Prize eluded his grasp,
His noble works shall forever clasp,
No prophet is hailed in their native domain,
An irony of fate, where recognition wanes

Through! The essence of peace, love, and harmony,
Echoing through generations, an everlasting symphony.
To his family, friends, and students worldwide,
I share and extend our heartfelt consolation, far and wide.

May his noble soul find eternal power,
In the beyond, where sorrows cease.
Adieu! Mzee, Sensei  Galtung, in your absence, we shall grieve,
But your teachings and spirit, we shall never leave.

From the sphere of the ancestors
Your legacy lives on, in our hearts, ever pure,
As we said « au revoir», rest in power, in perpetuum.
