The Significance of the Venezuela Attack by the US Administration
LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN, 17 Nov 2025
Sakai Tanaka – TRANSCEND Media Service
11 Nov 2025 – The U.S. military has deployed off the coast of Venezuela and it appears President Trump will soon launch an invasion to overthrow President Nicolás Maduro. Trump’s attack on Venezuela takes the form of a drug crackdown (war on drugs).
The U.S. military has already attacked several Venezuelan ships in the Caribbean (on the high seas) for allegedly secretly transporting narcotics (including fentanyl). However, there is no evidence that large amounts of fentanyl are flowing from Venezuela to the United States, and this is (allegedly) a false accusation. This false accusation has been particularly touted by liberal media outlets hostile to Trump.
Liberals excel at distorting the story against Trump, but this story is likely true. (Why Venezuela?)
The movement to overthrow Maduro has been gaining momentum since Marco Rubio (a former senator and anti-Castro Cuban) became Secretary of State in the Trump administration, a longtime advocate of overthrow. Trump has entrusted Secretary of State Rubio with the decision on what to do about Venezuela, and since the anti-leftist Rubio’s desire is to overthrow the leftist Maduro, the overthrowing is inevitable. That’s the plot. Trump returned to the US Presidency promising never again to resort to war or regime change, which have been the strategy of the US hegemony until now. Yet he is launching a war in Venezuela and trying to overthrow the regime. Isn’t this a violation of his campaign promise? British Americans are stepping up their criticism of Trump. (Trump Considering Menu Of Venezuela Attack Options, Including Oil-Field Seizures)(Death knell for the Summit of the Americas?)
In fact, there is another Venezuela strategy underway within the Trump administration. Even before his second term, Trump had Special Envoy Richard Grenell (former ambassador to Germany) conduct informal negotiations with Venezuela. Through Grenell, Trump has demanded that Maduro and his aides resign from power and go into exile, offering his safety. Maduro initially refused Trump’s request to resign, but it appears he has since begun to gauge Trump’s intentions and negotiate terms.(Maduro Open To ‘Managed Exit’ If Trump Provides Amnesty; Putin On Standby With Military Aid)
Trump had intended to appoint either Grenell or Rubio as Secretary of State during his second term. To overthrow the Maduro regime in Venezuela, should Grenell do it through negotiations, or should Rubio do it through war? In the end, Trump appointed Rubio as Secretary of State. Trump’s Venezuela strategy has become more combative. But at the same time, Grenell’s negotiations are continuing behind the scenes. While Rubio’s belligerent tactics are the only ones that stand out, this is a Trump-style distraction, and ultimately, Grenell’s negotiating tactics may be the deciding factor. Trump recently said, “Maduro’s regime will soon be over,” but that doesn’t necessarily mean any possible war with Venezuela is imminent. Trump had a plan to overthrow the Venezuelan regime even before he was elected to a second term, and from the start, he may have planned to line up two stalwarts, Grenell and Rubio, and use Rubio’s belligerent tactics as a distraction. This seems like a scenario typical of Trump, who had worked as a TV drama producer. (Trump says ‘days numbered’ for Venezuela’s Maduro)
Maduro has recently reportedly asked Russia (and China) to sell him weapons in preparation for a war with the United States. While this request is likely true, Maduro’s request to Russia is both hard and soft. The main focus of his request is rather on Putin’s cooperation, such as providing a place of asylum for Maduro if he accepts Trump’s demands and seeks asylum. Rather than being overthrown by war, the Maduro regime may voluntarily abandon power with Putin’s cooperation.(What Wider War in Venezuela Would Bring)
When the Israeli puppet Al-Qaeda (Sha’ala regime) overthrew the Assad regime in Syria late last year, Putin also provided Assad with asylum in Moscow. It is possible that Israel secretly asked Putin to provide Assad with asylum beforehand. In the Venezuela incident, it is possible that the Israeli puppet Trump secretly asked Putin to provide Maduro with asylum beforehand. (Trump and Putin will improve the Middle East/トランプとプーチンで中東を良くする)[U.S. & Israel Supporting Al-Qaeda As Conflict Erupts Again In Syria] [IDF chief finally acknowledges that Israel supplied weapons to Syrian rebels]
The overthrow of Venezuela’s government through Maduro’s exile will accelerate Trump’s efforts to overthrow governments in similar ways in left-wing Latin American countries like Cuba and Nicaragua, which are also subject to US economic sanctions. While Trump’s Latin American strategy is hostile to the left, he supports Latin American right-wingers (far-right, conservatives, and Christian fundamentalists) such as Argentine President Milley. (Cuba Is Returning To The US’ Crosshairs)
If Trump’s plan is successful, the left will be swept out of Latin America, breaking away from the long-standing division caused by the left-right conflict. Under Trump (and after him), the United States itself will become a right-wing country, not return to the left (the Democratic Party has completely destroyed itself). The Americas will become more right-wing and more stable. Behind Trump who stands with the Likud faction, the ruling US Intelligence Community, which has a track record of overthrowing Islamism (a left-wing ally) in the Middle East and establishing Israel’s hegemony. (Many people may think that Israel, which is constantly at war, cannot stabilize the world, but it is actually the British who have been destabilizing the world for 200 years.) (Trump’s left-wing war on terror, similar to 9/11 /9/11と似たトランプの左翼テロ戦争)
It is the British, who until recently were the world’s hegemonic power, who have been dividing and weakening Latin America. Since Latin America became a modern nation-state 200 years ago, it has been encouraged to split into small and medium-sized countries to avoid challenging the British hegemony that came to power after the Napoleonic Wars. For the past 100 years, left and right wing conflicts have plagued Latin America, weakening it (as has happened in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia). To maintain its global hegemony, the British have planted a war-torn structure in Latin America, preventing the United States from leading Latin America into a prosperous region independent of war-torn Eurasia (Americanism). (Shifting Latin America to the Right/中南米を右傾化させる)
After the Britain ceded hegemony to the United States during World War II, the British persuaded the United States to establish a new American Intelligence Community, which was taken over by the British, pushing aside those multipolarists such as Rockefeller, who had originally controlled the American strategy. The multipolar faction desired to transform the world from the pre-war British hegemony to a multipolar one, with the United States as the leader (i.e. the regional hegemon) of the North and South America, prospering alongside Latin America, and with the North and South America becoming separate territories (poles) that were mutually inviolable from Eurasia and Europe, in line with Americanism. However, this became impossible when the British took over the hegemony. (Trump’s Americanism/トランプの米州主義)
The British, who control the United States, have divided Latin America and created hostility between Latin America and the United States, forcing the United States to pursue a naive Latin America policy. Americanism has been rendered unfeasible and demonized as “isolationism.” The United States has been embedded in the perpetual Eurasian conflicts induced by the British, such as the Cold War with the Soviet Union and China, and has been forced to continue its unwilling global domination. (Trump’s Americanism and Japan/トランプの米州主義と日本)
Trump is trying to destroy that, and in a nefarious way. The nefarious approach to undermining the British’s humanitarian hegemonic strategy is shared by the three leaders of the world’s Likud-affiliated powers: Trump, Putin, and Netanyahu. Venezuela has the world’s largest oil reserves (although most of it is extra-heavy crude, which is unusable due to the high refining costs). It also produces natural gas. Trump’s main reason for wanting to overthrow Venezuela is to obtain oil and gas interests. Trump is trying to destroy left-wing governments and seize oil interests. He’s truly evil. However, even under the previous Democratic administrations, the United States continued to impose economic sanctions on Venezuela and denied its oil exports. (Humanity has fallen prey to Putin’s deceptive strategy./プーチンの偽悪戦略に乗せられた人類) [What a U.S. Invasion of Venezuela Would Mean for Global Oil Prices] [Energy policy of Venezuela] [This is Trump’s plan to steal Venezuela’s oil]
Trump is trying to destroy President Maduro by falsely accusing him of being the mastermind behind a drug cartel, even though Venezuela has little to do with the flow of drugs into the United States. This is to create the false narrative that the overthrow of Venezuela will solve the drug problem in the United States, which Trump has promised and boasted about. The drug problem in the United States is being solved through other measures initiated by Trump, such as strengthening border control in the United States, abolishing liberal policies like lenient crime, and cracking down on illegal immigration, which have been neglected by previous Democratic (and elite Republican) administrations. Trump also falsely accuses Maduro of being the mastermind behind the Tren de Aragua, a notorious criminal organization (gang) of illegal immigrants in the United States, because the Tren de Aragua originated in Venezuela. Trump is using this accusation to attack the liberal left of the US Democratic Party, which defends illegal immigration. (Trump’s Defeat of the Left/トランプの左翼退治)
Overall, Trump’s statements are absurd, but I believe that this in itself is part of his deceptive strategy. Liberal leftists have been fooled and fooled by various lies disguised as “rationality” (such as the anthropogenic theory of global warming, the foolish COVID-19 policy, and gender-related theories), and have been earnestly and desperately promoting (in fact, heinous and irrational) causes. When confronted with an enemy who continues to say and do absurd and irrational things, they become enraged, lose their reason, and become radicalized. When their enemy continues to behave irrationally and wins freely (as in the Gaza War, Trump’s politics, and the Ukraine War), liberal leftists become despairing and even more irrational. This characteristic of the liberal left can be seen in the despair and anger of the liberal leftists and journalists around me regarding the various rightward shifts in Japan today. Even after all this, the stupid leftists and journalists who still don’t realize they’ve been brainwashed for so long deserve to be told, “Stop destroying Japan any further” (and yet they don’t understand why they’re being scolded). Japan’s rightward shift is a “good thing.” It’s given me a new perspective on Japanese youth. (Journalism is no longer needed./ジャーナリズム要らない)
In October 2025, the Norwegian Nobel Committee announced to award the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize to Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado. She is a pro-American who wants to rely on U.S. military forces to overthrow the Maduro regime, become president of Venezuela, and turn the country into a U.S. puppet state. Even after the announcement of the 2025 Nobel Prize laureate to be, she continues to call on the U.S. and Israel to use military forces to overthrow the Maduro regime; she is a warmonger who opposes the concept of the Peace Prize. (Venezuela’s ‘Iron Lady’ Dedicates Nobel Prize to Trump As Maduro’s Death Rattle Gets Louder) [U.S.-Backed Regime Change Puppet In Venezuela Wins The Nobel Peace Prize.]
In the past, the Nobel Peace Prize has often been awarded to British-affiliated figures, such as anti-government figures who advocate for human rights and democracy and oppose authoritarian regimes, or those who promote human rights diplomacy. The Nobel Committee has been a tool for British-affiliated global domination. However, this year, Trump declared, “I am the most deserving person for the Peace Prize. If I were not to receive it, it would be an insult to America,” and launched a campaign to give it to him. Trump is a Likud member and an enemy of British-affiliated people in the secret struggle within the intelligence community (the hegemonic governing body). Former President Obama, who is British-affiliated, won the prize in 2009, so Trump, who is hostile to Obama and British-affiliated people, threatened the British-affiliated Nobel Committee, saying, “I deserve it more than him. If you refuse, I will sever security relations with Norway and the Nordic countries.” Trump, who behaves like a child, is once again employing a hypocritical strategy. (Trump Nobel Prize Win Dismissed as ‘Completely Unthinkable’) [American ‘puppet’ bests Trump to win Nobel Peace Prize 2025]
Trump, an Israeli puppet who has crushed British Americans and continues to commit massive humanitarian crimes in Gaza, cannot be awarded the Peace Prize. The Nobel Committee and the Norwegian government were in a difficult position and presumably approached the US government (probably Secretary of State Rubio) and said, “We can’t give it to Trump. Can you recommend someone else who will satisfy Trump?” Rubio and others responded by suggesting that Machado of Venezuela be the winner, and Machado was awarded the prize. (Nobel Committee, Fearing Trump’s Wrath, Hands Peace Prize To Regime Change Puppet)
However, the left-wing, liberal British (inadvertent) puppets surrounding the Nobel Committee also hate Machado, an anti-left, belligerent US puppet. After the Peace Prize was awarded, the Norwegian Peace Council held a celebratory lantern procession every year. However, this year’s procession was canceled due to overwhelming dissatisfaction among members. Upon hearing of the award, Machado declared, “I will present the award to Trump.” (Norwegian Peace Council Rejects Peace Prize Winner)[Warmonger US-Zionist Empire Puppet Receives Nobel “Peace” Prize & More]
By clamoring for the Prize to be awarded to himself and Machado, Trump is destroying the authority of the Nobel Peace Prize, a tool of the British humanitarian hegemony strategy. Machado’s award has caused the liberal left around the world to despair at the Nobel Committee. This same strategy of destroying the British and inflicting despair on the liberal left is being deployed here as well.
