Dear friends,
I am documentary film director and TMS writer Diran Noubar from France.
A few days ago, Venezuela was struck by a catastrophic 7.5 magnitude earthquake. The destruction in Caracas is heartbreaking. Families have been displaced, buildings have turned to rubble, and the human toll is rising every hour.
In the heart of this tragedy is our community’s anchor, the Church of the Holy Saint Gregory the Illuminator in Caracas, with which I have a direct connection, and Bishop Bedros with whom I have a relationship and daily communication.
At weAREmenia, we do things differently. We believe that in times of crisis, every second—and every dollar—counts. We are relaunching our Point-to-Point donation model to provide immediate, transparent relief.

Diran Noubar, an Italian-Armenian born in France, has lived in 11 countries until he moved to Armenia. He is a world-renowned, critically-acclaimed documentary filmmaker and war reporter. Starting in the early 2000’s in New York City, Diran produced and directed over 20 full-length documentary films. He is also a singer/songwriter and guitarist in his own band and runs a nonprofit charity organization, wearemenia.org.
