Expansion of Israel’s Hegemony

MIDDLE EAST AND NORTH AFRICA, 4 Aug 2025

Sakai Tanaka - TRANSCEND Media Service

25 Jul 2025 – Israel continues to expand its own hegemony over a wide area from the Middle East to North Africa and the Caucasus. In the future multipolar world, the Middle East, to which Israel belongs, was planned to be a balanced system between the four major powers of Iran, the Arab world, and Turkey. However, while Israel has recently tamed the Arab world and Turkey, it has also attacked its arch enemy Iran and its affiliated forces with military attacks, destroying the pre-established harmony with its rough methods and confusing the United States, China, and Russia, which are promoting multipolarity. If Israel attacks Iran again in the future to overthrow the government, or pushes Turkey and Azerbaijan to push aside China and Russia in Central Asia and expand its hegemony, the United States and Russia will likely tolerate it, but it will also be interesting to see what China, which has been watching from the sidelines until now, will do. (The Hidden Nature of Israel’s Hegemony in the Middle East) (Giving the Caucasus to Turkey/コーカサスをトルコに与える)  [The Iran-Israel war: A blow to China’s status in the Middle East]

  1. In the Middle East, Iran and Yemen (under the political influence of Iran), the last countries to fight back against Israel, are losing their ability to fight back as a result of Israeli attacks. Syria (Assad regime) and Lebanon (Hezbollah), which once fought against Israel, were crushed by Israel at the end of last year. They have been converted into the Israeli puppets or the neutral regimes. Although it has not been reported, the new Syrian regime of HTS and Al-Sharaa is also an Israeli puppet. (Two-faced reconciliation with Syria/表裏あるシリアとの和解
  2. Israel has recently bombed the Damascus military HQ base of the Syrian Al-Sharaa HTS regime. Israel attacked Syria as a sanction against the new Syrian regime’s military for oppressing the Druze living in southern Syria. Some people may think that the new Syrian regime is not an Israeli puppet but an enemy after seeing this attack, but that is not the case. Druze also live in Israel, and are valued by Jews for their military service. Druze were also valued by the Assad regime in Syria. The dictator Assad family is also a minority Alawite, and the Assad regime formed a minority alliance with the Druze and others to continue to dominate the majority Sunni Arabs. (Chaos on border: Some 1,000 Israeli Druze cross border into Syria, IDF strikes Damascus for second time) [Israel bombards Syria’s Damascus as US says steps agreed to end violence]
  3. Sharaa’s HTS, which took power in Syria last year, is the Sunni Arab (Al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood). After taking power, the Sunni Arabs pressured the new HTS government to “crush the Druze and Alawites.” Since the beginning of the year, Alawites have been oppressed and killed quite a lot. The next target could be the Druze. However, when HTS kills the Syrian Druze, the Israeli Druze become furious. (Druze clashes in Syria escalate as Israel faces tough border choices
In Syria, an unhinged massacre of Alawite civilians)  [Al Qaeda and Islam: Major Religions of the World]    [Syria: Who the Druze are and why they’re clashing with government forces]
  4. The Israeli authorities believe that it is inevitable for the puppet HTS to kill Alawites and Druze in order to maintain political popularity in Syria. However, the Druze in Israel do not think so. If their Syrian brethren are killed, the Israeli Druze have begun to move to form militias, cross the border into Syria, and wage war against the Syrian government forces. In the end, the Israeli authorities decided to “sanction” them by bombing the HTS government buildings in Damascus. The Druze incident shows the difficulty of Israel’s policy of making Syria a puppet, but it is not the reason why Syria is not an Israeli puppet. I tried to explain this in about two lines, but it was completely impossible. The Middle East is very awkwardly complicated.(IDF strikes Damascus; Hundreds of Israeli Druze attempt to cross Syrian border
  5. Now, let me return to the primary topic of this article. Iran is likely to become a global and geopolitical issue in the Middle East in the future. It is my understanding that the US, China and Russia are working hard to stabilize the Middle East with a four-pole system of Iran, Israel, the Arab countries and Turkey, with Iran remaining as an Islamic Republic and reconciled or building a cold peace with Israel. Of the three poles in the Middle East other than Israel, only Iran can be a long-term rival to Israel. Turkey and the Arab countries have a long history of cooperation with Israel.(Kremlin Teases Possible Trump-Putin-Xi Meeting In Beijing
  6. In contrast, Iran has been Israel’s enemy for 45 years since the Islamic Revolution. The UK and the US, which were the sole hegemonic powers, adopted the Middle East divide and rule policy of turning Iran into a revolutionary regime and making it fight Israel. In response, Israel has used its intelligence to threaten the US political world, making them extremely hostile towards Iran. Unlike the US, China and Russia, Israel wants to take advantages of the current opportunity to destroy the current Iranian regime and to create a puppet government of Israel, which may well be called a “Syria method”, while (a) the political influence of the Anglo-America has been declining and (b) the emerging multipolar system of the world order is not yet stabilized.  However, this is not included in the scenario of those countries that aim toward a multipolar world order, such as the US, China and Russia.    [The End of an Era: America’s Waning Hegemony in a Multipolar World]      [The United States and Israel Are Coming Apart]
  7. Up to these days, I thought that Israel would listen to the US, China and Russia and tolerate the current Iranian regime, but now I begin to think that Israel may be planning to overthrow the Iranian regime. Its reason is that Trump’s aides have recently been confused, saying, “Israel is more belligerent than the US has thought, which is a problem.” (Trump Officials Frustrated At Trigger-Happy ‘Madman’ Netanyahu, ‘Who Just Won’t Behave’
  8. Until recently, the Israeli military relied on US military assets in wars, but nowadays this Jewish country has begun to make certain moves to become more independent from the US, such as, for example, building its own tankers to avoid relying on the US aerial refueling, and nationalizing the management of its satellites and stopping orders to the US private companies. (Following Iran campaign, Israel rethinks foreign reliance for refueling planes)(Israel enters new space era with first state-owned communications satellite
  9. Of the US, China, and Russia, Trump’s US and Putin’s Russia are quite at the mercy of Israel. Even if Israel were to crush Iran or take over the hegemony of the Caucasus and Central Asia, which are Russia’s spheres of influence, the US and Russia would likely tolerate it. Traditionally, Xi Jinping’s China has avoided conflict with Israel, while stating in principle that it supports a Palestinian state. However, if Israel tries to crush Iran in the future, will China change its tacit attitude? If China does not change its traditional stance toward Israel, Iran might be crushed. (Armenia’s Changing Relationship With Russia) [China supports Iran, condemns Israel] [The 12-day Israel-Iran war: China’s response and its implications]      [Iran pivots from Russia to China in quest for new weapons after Israel war]
  10. Israel’s push for the Turkish influence in the Central Asian region is undermining China’s hegemony in the region. It seems that Israel is deliberately taking provocative measures to make the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) feel threatened. In South Asia, India, China’s rival, is strengthening its pro-Israel stance. India (Modi, a Hindu fundamentalist) and Israel can form an alliance because both countries are in conflict with Muslims. India is gaining military intelligence from Israel and attacking Pakistan, which is under China’s umbrella. By doing so, India is strengthening its influential dominance over Pakistan. Israel can push for Turkey and India to erode China’s sphere of influence in Central Asia. Then, would Xi Jinping tolerate Israel’s tyrannic hegemony?Iran, Russia, China to Hold Trilateral Nuclear Talks Amid Rumblings of US Dialogue Resumption
  11. Recently, China and Russia held talks with Iran on the nuclear issue. Iran has since declared once again that it will retaliate if Israel attacks. Is this move a sign of intent from China, Russia, and especially from the CCP, to Israel that China and Russia will not allow Iran to be destroyed by Israel and that they will support Iran? Iran’s statement that it will retaliate if attacked is the same as before. So, it doesn’t seem like a new stance from the CCP. (Iran’s President ‘Ready’ For War With Israel, Will Not Halt Nuclear Program) [China Urges Israel to Immediately Cease Fighting in Interests of Middle East People: Spokesman]
  12. Putin stays in a state of “dual subordination” where he listens to both Israel and the CCP. (Putin’s attitude as such allows him to prolong the Ukrainian War, to thoroughly destroy the politics and economy of Europe and Britain, and ultimately to gain the benefit of being able to make Europe listen to him.). Xi Jinping has adopted a strategy of keeping silence about international politics. (Is that the strategy of Sun Tzu’s Art of War?) It is unclear what he actually thinks about Israel’s expansion of tyranny in the Middle East and about Iran being destroyed by Israel.  In any case however, it is necessary for the CCP to take either the attitude of condoning Israel or of deterring it in the future. (Putin sidelined: Russia fails to stop Turkey from reconciling Azerbaijan and Armenia)  [An unrestrained Israel is reshaping the Middle East]     [Israel actions in West Asia aimed at restoring West hegemony]
  13. If the CCP tolerates it and nobody else attempts to stop Israel, this Jewish country will not be satisfied with its position as one of the poles of the Middle East, and it will likely intensify its expansion strategy. Israel (the original Jewish intelligence) has inherited the entire intelligence world (responsible for managing the hegemony) due to the collapse of the hegemony of the United States and Britain, and is gaining strong international political and military power. It is difficult to expect Israel to exercise self-restraint. If things go wrong, instead of the collapse of the hegemony of the United States and Britain and the shift to a multipolar world, Israel may become the sole hegemonic power that inherits the United States and Britain. One, who thinks that the small Israel cannot dominate the world, should remember the fact that the small Britain once dominated the world. The Battle For The Middle East Is Going Global)  [How Israel evolved from the Middle East’s David to its Goliath]      [Israel’s Path to Regional Transformation]     [The Vision of Hegemony Driving Israel’s Regional Policy]     [Greater Israel: an Ongoing Expansion Plan]     [How Does Israel Control The World?  And the West?]     [Why Is Israel’s Economy So Strong Amidst War]    [Israel and the World Economy]    [How Powerful Is Israel?]
  14. If the CCP, the de facto leader of BRICS and the mediator of the emerging multipolar world, does not allow Israel’s tyranny that disrupts the order of the multipolar world, the CCP may try to deter Israel. However, that could lead to a battle for the hegemony between the CCP and Israel.  If that happens, Japan and Australia, which are currently reluctant to view China as their enemy because they do not have the power to stand up to China on their own due to the decline of the US hegemony, may be supported by Israel in the future and begin to adopt a new, subtle and unique stance against China that is not part of their traditional subservience to the US. For Japan, this coincides with the possible replacement of the Prime Minister after the House of Councilors election.      (Australia has refused to go to war with China over Taiwan)   [America’s costly backing for Israel is enabling China’s unstoppable rise]      [From Damascus to Gaza, Israel’s doctrine of domination has one fatal flaw]
