Trump’s “Board of Peace” Is an Institution for Israeli Hegemony

23 Jan 2026 – US President Trump announced on 16 Jan 2026  the creation of a “Board of Peace” (BoP) as the second phase of a ceasefire plan for the Gaza War. The concept of the BoP began in September of last year.  Then, it was officially launched on 22 January 2026 at the Davos Forum (World Economic Forum) with 35 participating countries. Trump himself will serve as the first president of the BoP.   The membership of the BoP will include the heads of states from the Middle East and elsewhere. The founding charter states that the purpose of the BoP is to resolve conflicts not only in Gaza but around the world. As the president of the BoP, Trump wields enormous power, including the right to veto to the decisions of the BoP and the power to expel the participating countries. The secretariat is staffed by Trump’s inner circle. It also appears to be an institution designed to establish Trump as a”world emperor.”

Trump issued invitations to 59 countries around the world to join the BoP. In addition to the United States, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Qatar, Morocco, Pakistan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Hungary, Argentina, Paraguay, Albania, and Kosovo have announced their intention to join. (Japan is waiting to see how things develop.)

As an act of pretense, Israel initially objected to joining the BoP because of the inclusion of Turkey and Qatar, which support Hamas, but later decided to join, as previously intended. On the other hand, no Palestinian organizations or individuals are allowed to be in the BoP.  Not only that, the founding charter of the BoP mentions nothing about Gaza or Palestine. Needless to say, Palestinian participation and mention is essential to advancing a ceasefire and reconstruction in Gaza, but the charter of the BoP refers to nothing of that. Is this a farce (a sarcastic strategy favoring Israel and hostile to Britain and Europe)? Is it merely satisfying Trump’s vanity? Or is there a real purpose elsewhere?

Those European countries, including the UK, France, and the Scandinavian countries, have announced their withdrawal, criticizing the BoP’s farce and deviation from the UN Charter. To counter such movements, Trump has deployed a sarcastic strategy, threatening to impose 200% retaliatory tariffs on wine and champagne imported from France, for example.

Seeing the UK and Europe’s withdrawal, Russia, which has been viewed as their enemy by Britain and Europe, is now saying it might stop waiting and join. Belarus, a Russian stooge, has been committed to joining from the beginning. Trump has asked countries around the world to contribute $1 billion if they want the BoP permanent membership (, which is a sarcastic strategy that portrays it as all about money). Putin has jumped on Trump’s shady tactics, announcing that if the US and Europe return the frozen Russian assets overseas, he will contribute $1 billion of that to the BoP.  Meanwhile, Putin has invited the Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas to Moscow to have a meeting, and is proceeding with the plans (or is this an act?) to take charge of actual Palestinian support, showing his enthusiasm.

Trump extended invitations to the BoP to those British and non-American countries that criticize Israel, such as Canada and Brazil, but he emphasized the $1 billion contribution, a ploy to provoke anger among anti-Israel countries and effectively prevent them from participating. Overall, it is a typical Trump-like ploy, filled with farce, vanity, and hypocrisy. The media (journalism that pretends to be noble but is actually harmful) and liberals are content to fall for it, provoke anger, and simply spew out their condemnation of Trump.

However, if we peel back a little further, we can see Trump’s true intentions regarding the BoP, which he has blinded with his hypocritical strategy. While the Board appears to be Trump’s personal property on the surface, its true nature is different. The BoP is nothing but an “Israeli hegemonic institution,” created by Trump for Israel (the Likud faction, which controls the US Intelligence Community). Looking at the list of participating countries, the Peace Council’s membership overlaps significantly with the countries participating in the “Abraham Accords,” Trump’s initiative to reconcile Israel with Arab and Islamic countries. The BoP is an evolution of the Abraham Accords.

The Abraham Accords, proposed in 2018, were a plan for the Arab and Islamic countries, led by Saudi Arabia, to reconcile with Israel and normalize diplomatic relations, provided that Israel cooperated in the reconstruction of a Palestinian state. Since then, however, Israel has pursued a policy of the erasure of the Palestine statehood, rather than rebuilding Palestine, would destroy it. As the result, many countries, including Saudi Arabia, withdrew from the Abraham Accords, and the plan has been stymied.

Prior to the establishment of the BoP, some rumors had circulated that it would be an organization promoting Palestinian reconstruction, including a ceasefire and reconstruction in Gaza. However, the actual charter for its establishment makes no mention of Palestine or Gaza. Israel, as per its usual diversionary tactics, appears to have reluctantly joined at Trump’s urging (Israel has made Syria a puppet, yet is reluctant to reconcile with the new administration, another diversionary tactic). In reality, Israel, which controls the US Intelligence Community, has a say and veto power in the formulation of Trump’s global strategy. One could even tell that Trump is an Israeli puppet. It is highly likely that the BoP is based on the plan, agreed upon through discussions between Trump and Netanyahu (and the Likud-affiliated US Intelligence Community, i.e., Trump’s inner circle).  Israel is behind Trump, who controls the BoP dictatorially.

Even now that the BoP is operational, it will likely only talk about Palestine and not do much. Rather, the BoP will be used as a tool for Israel’s hegemonic strategy. To what extent does Israel intend to exercise hegemony in the world? Is it limited to the Middle East? The member countries of the BoP are spread across the globe. Israel appears to be considering a global hegemony (replacing the British).

Saudi Arabia, the leader of the Arab and Islamic world, did not join the Abraham Accords, but it has been a member of the BoP since its inception. The pretext was a ceasefire and reconstruction of Gaza, which made it easy for Islamic countries critical of Israel, including Turkey, to join. However, the BoP is, in reality, a puppet organization that cooperates with Israel’s global hegemony, without any involvement in the reconstruction of Gaza.  Are Saudi Arabia and Turkey all right with that?

My explanation on this is that because Israel took over the US Intelligence Community and gained hegemonic power on a par with that of the United States, both Saudi Arabia and Turkey effectively stopped competing with Israel and surrendered to its side. (Hegemonic power is made essentially of “military intelligence” and “the power of international political scheming”. It could involve mobilizing rebel forces to overthrow a government, or using another country “A” to influence another country “B”.)

Originally, the Middle East was envisioned as a future multipolar world with a “regional quadri-polar, quadri-power system” consisting of Israel, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Iran. However, now, with the United States at its mercy, Israel alone is by far the strongest. Iran, with Ali Khamenei driven into exile, is likely to be softly overthrown like Venezuela and come under the umbrella of the US and Israel. Turkey and Saudi Arabia might be overthrown if they oppose Israel, as it is seen that Iran could be highly likely so.  Instead, they would be better off cozying up to Israel, like Colombia, South America, voluntarily adopting a pro-American stance after the overthrow of Venezuela. Erdogan and MbS must think so, too. That is why Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and other countries are increasingly joining the farcical BoP. Their sham strategy is working.

The BoP includes neighboring countries far from Israel, such as Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and Vietnam. Cambodia, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, and Australia have also been invited by Trump (and these countries are considering joining). What does this situation signify? It is likely a “China containment strategy”. Israel is preparing to counter the Chinese Communist Party or CCP, which has been uniting non-American countries to expand its hegemony, as part of its global strategy. Israel will inherit the UK-US China containment strategy. This follows on from the Abraham Accords, the predecessor of the BoP. China was invited by Trump, but it has yet to decide whether to join it.

If the US and UK decline and the containment strategy is lifted, China’s neighboring countries will have no choice but to rely on China. In fact, the CCP’s hegemony in Asia has expanded too much. Using Putin’s Russia as its stooge, the CCP has expanded its influence from the Central Asia to the Western Asia, and has led the BRICS and G77 to reach out to India, Africa, and Latin America.

Israel is trying to limit the expansion of China’s hegemony. It is incorporating China’s neighboring countries into its BoP and using the United States (Trump) to exert influence so that neighboring countries can resist China’s orders and not be subservient. Israel has already expanded its influence in the Caucasus and the Central Asia through Turkey, its hidden vassal, and is now in China’s backyard. Putin has abandoned the Russian hegemony in the Caucasus and handed it over to the Turkish-Israeli alliance. In Latin America, Argentina’s President Javier Miley is a far-right, pro-Israel leader, battling with anti-Israel left-wing governments in Brazil and elsewhere.

Before Trump’s return to power, the world was witnessing the collapse of the British-led US sole hegemony, and the expansion of non-American hegemony, including the Chinese-led BRICS. With the return of Likud-backed Trump, Israel (Likud-backed) has entered the hegemonic struggle between Britain and China. Since then, the global hegemony has been a three-way struggle between the declining British faction, the Likud faction that is stepping in, and the Chinese faction that is being held back. This time, the BoP has emerged as a Likud-affiliated global institution.

The UK (along with its vassal France) has officially announced its withdrawal from the BoP. Until now, the UK has always been the first to follow the US, no matter how irrational and selfish its global strategies.  Besides, the British forces have continued to infiltrate the arguments of the US and work to bring the US back within the framework of the British-friendly liberal global hegemony. This time, however, things are different. The BoP is completely dominated by the Likud faction, the political rival of the British hegemonic power. Therefore, the UK cannot enter it. The British hegemony is based at its core on humanitarianism (in the name of crushing political opponents).  As such, the UK cannot join the BoP that condones the enormous crime against humanity that is the Gaza genocide.

Among the British, former Prime Minister Tony Blair is a member of the board of directors of the Board of Peace. This is a Likud favorite farce to make the BoP appear British, with Blair himself merely being used as a clown and having no authority. The launch of the BoP, which is actually a “Board of the World neither with the UK nor France”, indicates the decline of the British hegemony and the rise of the Likud hegemony.

Trump has pointed out that the BoP could become an international organization that could replace the United Nations. After the Cold War, the UN (especially the General Assembly) was a battleground between the British hegemony and the Chinese hegemony. The Likud-affiliated BoP was established outside the UN.  While the British-influential power [i.e. Anglo-American power] is declining, the UN is becoming a Chinese-affiliated institution. This would pit the “Chinese-affiliated UN (which inherited the legacy of the British humanitarianism)” against the “Likud-affiliated, non-UN-related BoP”, which trampled on humanitarianism with the Gaza massacre. Accordingly, Trump’s words, as mentioned above, can be interpreted in such context.

Putin’s Russia is friendly with both China and Israel. Not only Russia, but all non-American countries that don’t view Israel as their enemy are ambidextrous. The question of whether these countries will support China or Israel more will determine the course of the struggle for hegemony between China and Israel. The Chinese are pragmatic. Opposing Israel risks overthrowing the Chinese government. Instead, they may choose not to fight Israel, ignore the Gaza massacre, and instead allow China and the UN to cozy up to the BoP.

Even if China cozies up, Israel will continue to exert pressure on China without lifting its containment tactics, adjusting the balance in a multipolar world. In that case, a right-wing Japan (Takaichi-led) may eventually take charge of the China containment tactics of the BoP, which is made up essentially with the Israeli [Likud] power. While Israel is outwardly in conflict with Turkey, this Islamic country is actually an Israeli vassal in the low profile.  Therefore, Israel lets Turkey do the job for the Israeli expansion of the hegemony in the Caucasus and Central Asia. Similarly, it would not be surprising even if Israel were to subcontract the management of its maritime Asia-Pacific alliance to Japan.

If Australia were included, it would become a “Japan-Australia-Asia” alliance. During his first term, Trump tried to put Shinzo Abe in charge of the “Japan-Australia-Asia-India” alliance to contain China (although Abe avoided it by maintaining his pro-China stance).  Takaichi was Abe’s stooge. However, this time, Japan, led by Takaichi, may be able to do that without running away. It may also be said that Israel is trying to get Japan to create a “Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere [in accordance with the Israeli/Likud strategy], which will never fail in the second time” (even though some liberals tend to claim that it will fail again).
