Hitler’s Jew Hatred and Huckabee’s Jew Love as Grave Threats to World Peace

What do Arch-antisemite Adolf Hitler of Yesteryear and Today’s Christian Zionist Mike Huckabee Have in Common?  More Than You Think

In today’s world, Christian Zionist Fanaticism espoused by Mike Huckabee and the Jewish Supremacy that Zionist Israel embodies, pose the single gravest threat to world peace and inter-faith harmony among world’s populations.

On the surface, Adolf Hitler and US Ambassador to Israel Rev. Mike Huckabee have nothing in common.

But upon closer look, their diametrically opposing ideologies with respect to the single demographic category, namely the Jewish people, ought to be seen as equally toxic.

Both are gravest threats to world peace (that is, the general well-being and safety of the humanity at large), though their strongly held convictions are rooted in two radically different world views,

To belabour the obvious, Hitler’s world view was anchored in his obsessive Jew hatred which led to the categorical dehumanization and demonization of the Jewish people as a category to exterminate. As Untermensch, or subhumans, Jews didn’t deserve to live–such was the essence of his ideology.

Huckabee’s view is the unconditional love of Jews as “God’s chosen people” with their divine right to West Asia’s land and world leadership.  That is, even if it means the entire region burns, harmony or peaceful coexistence amongst different faith-based nations and communities gets destroyed, and the world’s economy end in ruins, as the US-Israel war against Iran has begun to do.

It is worth stressing that Hitler’s race-supremacist (Aryan) convictions as spelled out in in his Mein Kampf (first published in 1925) and the resultant Nazi policies and the World War II they ignited claimed the lives of 60 million humans the world over.  While Nazis got the bad press, and deservedly so, their race-supremacist ideology was based on the 19^th century Europe’s pseudo-science of race and racial hierarchy led to extermination camps, and the devastating World War II.

For the non-Europeans, in the European colonized world outside, German Nazism and European Colonialisms differed only in degree (of their savagery and cruelty), but not in kind.

That said, what Hitler did was this: he adopted the quintessentially Christian Europe’s race and faith-supremacist racism and applied it to Europe’s integral populations while seeking to genocidally expand the living space (land) for his fellow Aryan race, Reich’s chosen people, at the expense of “sub- or under-humans” (both western and eastern European Jews) and “inferior races” (such as Poles, Sinti and Romani, Slavs, etc.).

Hitler justified his genocidal land acquisition through wars of aggression in the language of racial superiority of State’s chosen people, the Aryan, their need for living space, their need for greater food system, their need for racial purity.

Needless to say, these anti-human ideas as state-adopted ideologies were not confined exclusively to White and Christian Supremacist European societies and states, albeit their degrees of death and devastation had global impact: Europe’s fire powers, economic muscle and geographic and demographic control were far greater than that of the sole Fascist state in Asia, namely Imperial Japan.

Anchored in its “We-are-the-Descendants-of-the-Sun” race supremacist ideology, imperial Japan under Emperor Hirohito and his military leader and Prime Minister General Togyo, waged wars of aggression across the Far East and Southeast Asia, all the way to the Indo-Burmese borders.  As Japan expanded territorial control and military domination, local populations under its occupation were enslaved for Tokyo’s war needs and sexual needs of its Fascist troops on the march towards the British India where Japan sought, unsuccessfully, to supplant the British colonial rule with its Fascist rule, while perpetrating a textbook genocide in Manchuria, and on Korea, which it had already annexed colonially.

Compared to the enormity of race-supremacist Fascist crimes which ended with the two major international military tribunals, Nuremberg and Tokyo, what the lowly US Ambassador in Jerusalem espouses publicly should not be assigned undue or outsized policy significance, one may contend.

After all, ambassadors, politically appointed or careerists, serve at the pleasure of their bosses at home, and hence, can be removed at the drop of a hat, despite the status and prestige such posts bestow on them.

However, Huckabee is not just another diplomatic representative among hundreds around the world.  He is a leading American Christian Zionist from a country where Christian Zionist voters, churches and networks form a formidable, if unofficial, pillar of the Israel Lobby in USA.

While Zionaires (or Zionist billionaires) hold considerable sway over the “Israel-right-or-wrong” US policy since the assassination of JFK in 1963, thought to be linked to Israel, the sheer number of Christian Zionist votes whip American politicians to keep Washington’s unconditional support for Israel flowing.

Nearly eight decades after the genocidal founding of Israel – Google the original Nakba of 1948 – as the Jewish majority state on the Arab majority soil of Israel, the ideology of Jewish Supremacy of Zionists, amongst both the Jewish diaspora and Israeli Jews in Israel, poses one of the gravest threats to harmony and peace amongst the diverse human populations that make up nearly 200 official member states of the United Nations.

The US-based Pew Research Center conducted a opinion survey in three dozen UN member states, mostly after the US-Israel’s joint war of aggression against Iran on Feb. 28.   It found that a median of 67% of the surveyed adults hold negative views towards Israel.  While the Muslim-majority countries and places such as Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Turkey, the West Bank and East Jerusalem hold acutely negative view of Israel European and other non-Muslim majority populations in Asia and Latin America still hold a significantly negative view of Israel.  Only in India, itself soaked in the Hindutva (Far Right Islamophobic Nationalism with a Hindu veneer) and sub-Saharan countries (such as Nigeria, S. Africa, Kenya and Ghana, presumably with strong enclaves of Christian Zionists) did the locals view Israel positively.

Since the end of the World War II, that is, post-Holocaust, the centuries-old-brazen European imperialisms with their twofold signature policies and practices of White and Christian Supremacy, have been supplanted with global governing institutions and the (guiding) international law of which the non-binding Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the binding Conventions on genocide, torture, war crimes etc.

Today, the United States, under the growing influence of Christian Zionism – which Mike Huckabee and US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth aggressively promote – and Israel under the control of two leading Messianic Fascists, namely Smotrich and Ben Gvir, both ICC-wanted, have set the historical clock, not simply pre-WWII decades of the 1920’s and 1930’s, but to the early days of Christian Europe’s genocidal land and resource grabs in the so-called New World by Christopher Columbus which began in 1492.

This European land grab and resource loot came to be blessed by the Catholic Church and the political states of Spain and Portugal.  Both religious and political/feudal institutions rested on the twin supremacy of faith and race vis-à-vis the non-European people, or a “people without history”.

Lest we forget, for several centuries in Judaeo-Christian Europe, Transatlantic Slave Trade and Enslavement of the kidnapped Africans, and slaughter of indigenous populations for want of their land, were deemed in sync with Lord’s moral sentiments, philosophies of “the European Enlightenment” and European juridical thoughts.

Past is not even the past.  It lives on in our troubled times.   Humanity has been here before.

It is worth revisiting that in his diplomatically disastrous 3-hour-long interview with Tucker Carlson, the US Ambassador Huckabee in February this year, the Arch Christian Zionist unequivocally told his old Christian conservative interviewer Israel has the divine right to take all land “from the Euphrates to the Nile”, based on his reading of the Book of Genesis.    Twice, the International Court of Justice had issued its legal opinion, stating that Israel building settlements in the pre-1967 Palestine is in clear breach of international law, [not to mention grabbing more sovereign lands in Syria and Southern Lebanon, (as well as potentially parts of Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye as Tel Aviv’s Eretz Israel–greater biblical Israel–envisages)].

A week ago, in his 14-minutes Commencement Address at Yeshiva University, Israel’s traditional rabbinical institution which conferred on him Presidential Medal for Outstanding Global Leadership, Ambassador Reverend Huckabee pledges his personal “eternal obligation”, as a Christian, to do everything in his power to protect the Jewish people, God’s Chosen people on the Promised Land of Israel.

As a matter of fact, Huckabee announced that his three generations, that is, daughter who now is the Governor of Arkansas, the elected office which he previously held, and her 3-children, are prepared to advocate for and protect Israel as the promised land of God’s Chosen People.

In a single speech which drew thunderous applause from Israeli students, faculty, parents and any other Israeli in the packed audience, the American fanatic in his official diplomatic capacity chose to elevate the Bible, both the Jewish Tora and the New Testament of Christians above international law, designed to prevent future holocausts and another world war.

Emphatically, the scriptural validity of any faith-based doctrine is necessarily confined to the believers, whatever the name of the faith.  In a world where there are multiple faith systems and non-faith-based communities with hundreds of millions of human persons, to establish the primacy of one’s own chosen religious faith or holy scripture is to stoke worldwide resentment, fear, and loathing of the elevated faith (s) and faith-based populations.

Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, article 18 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the Declaration on the Elimination of All Forms of Intolerance and of Discrimination Based on Religion or Belief guarantee freedom of religion, that is individuals are entitled to chose their own faith religion.

But, no one is entitled to impose one’s faith-based views on the rest of the world who may not share the same faith or believe in the validity of any and all scriptures, again whatever the name of the faith.

Moreover, Huckabee’s biblically based personal obligations to protect his God’s promised land inhabited by the Chosen people, after the “3,800 years of unbroken link” with the land is even more troubling in the light of Israelis continuing victim-livestreamed genocide in Gaza.

At the moment, Israel is giving Southern Lebanese people “the Gaza treatment” (ethnic cleansing and genocidal scorched earth or total destruction), having violently displaced 1 million people in a matter of several weeks.

The Israeli Defence Force has been ordered to take control of 70% of devastated Gaza enclave, squeezing the enclave’s population into an ever smaller area while maintaining the medieval siege.

The ICC has recently issued an arrest warrant for the Far-Right Religious Zionist party leader and Finance Minister Bezale Smotrich, who declared the establishment of more than 100 (illegal) new Jewish settlements in the West Bank, in blatant disregard for the overwhelming UN General Assembly resolutions, international law, and legal opinion by the United Nations’ principal judicial organ called the International Court of Justice.

Israel has enacted race-based Death Penalty only for Palestinians held in Israel’s prisons where they are routinely subjected to torture, rape and various forms of sexual violence including rape by Israel-trained prison dogs.

According to the renowned anti-Zionist Israeli journalist Gideon Levy, 94% of the Israeli Jewish population inside Israel welcome and support Netanyahu’s war of aggression against Iran, and they want Israel to continue with this war, with or without Washington’s support.  Whether Israel with no strategic military depths or enough troops, without the United States joining is another matter altogether.

Nor do the Israeli Jews care how the illegal and unprovoked war against Iran has already resulted in extreme economic hardships for billions of people around the world because it has disrupted majorly the flow and production of fertilizer, feed stocks, gas and oil, and other petrochemical products necessary for global economy.

Today, Israel as a UN member state is awaiting the ICJ’s final verdict in the Palestine genocide case, its top leaders face multiple arrest warrants and its society widely hated – as evidenced in the findings of the Pew Research Center survey of 30+ countries globally.

All things Israel today are hated, resented and opposed worldwide, at least at the grassroots level, not because of Judaism and their identity as Jews, but because of Israel and Israelis’ vile sadistic racism and genocidal deeds towards 7 million Palestinian people under Israel’s occupation since 1967.

The fact that Huckabee would pledge repeatedly to “eternally protect” this Israel and its Israelis should be seen as nothing short of an expression of biblical fanaticism, bordering on Fascism with the veneer of Christianity.

What Huckabee had done in his Yeshiva University Commencement addressed is simply the inversion of Hitlerite’s race essentialism:  Hitler demonised and dehumanized “the Jews”, scapegoating German Jews for all the economic and social ills Germany suffered after the humiliating defeat in the World War I while Huckabee effectively deified ALL Jews and reinforced the Jewish Supremacist self-perception that came to define Zionism and permeates all Zionist spaces.

Neither demonization and dehumanization of Jewish people – or for that matter, any demographic category –nor their deification or elevation will end well.   We know what eventually happened when Jewish people were demonized and dehumanized.  We can also see the Israel-linked economic instability, unending Israel-instigated wars in West Asia, and destruction of international law, when Jewish Supremacy or exceptionalism, if you like, is reinforced, backed and protected by the Christian Zionists of former European colonial entities.

Here is a selection of Ambassador Huckabee’s words which will be recorded in the annals of history’s genocides:

“I am not a Zionist because I am Jewish.  I am a Zionist because I believe in Bible. Jews around the world representing only 0.2 percent of the world’s population have created outsized impact on the world.  Unfortunately, there are people who hate you for that.  More than they have you.  They hate the God who chose you more than 3,800 hundred years ago, gave you a place called Israel and gave you a purpose which is to present the law and the light to all the world.   (T)here is no one else to whom the Creator of the Universe has given such a mission.”

To the Christian Zionist from Little Rock, Arkansas, Israel is the irrefutable evidence of what the Prophet said would come to fruition:  “that the dry bone would live again, and that the desert would bloom”.    Having made over 100 visits to this promised land (?) of Israel since 1973, the preacher repeated the tired old foundational Israeli propaganda, “there was nothing there.  It was desert and rock. Nothing grew there.  Nothing was green.   Brown and lifeless.  Using the incredible inspiration and the innovation of drip irrigation invented by (the) Israelis he created something amazing, a farm.  It turned green with fruit and vegetables, Lush with something that was growing and living.

He continued, “(God) also commissioned the Jewish people to work very hard, sacrificially, to truly make (Israel) the land of milk and honey.”

Citing the Book of Genesis, Huckabee exhorted his audience to lead the world, despite of attempts to eradicate and destroy God’s chosen people and their promised land, to the loud applause.

Then he repeated again the Pavlovian view that the world have always hated the Jews:

“There will always be those who will find reasons – irrational reasons – to hate the Jews.  It’s been that way since God chose Abraham on Mount Moriah (Genesis 22).  You have an unbroken connection of 3,800 years to the land.”
