The future of weaponry is nothing but terrifying, much of it seemingly taken from the deepest places of a science-fiction writer’s mind. From lasers to robots, sonic blasters and rays that will make you sick, these weapons portend a new kind of battlefield.

How is it possible for them to enthusiastically work for killing people? People are their brothers and sisters or no? Let them read Article 1 of the UDHR. “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.” Let them remind of Article 1 of the UDHR not only on 10 December but also on the rest of the days, 364 (or 365) days.

The outcome of the constant development of new weapons may show the survival of the following businesses: (1) weapon business, (2) funeral business, and (3) medial business. Sadly, that might become the trilogy of the ultimate businesses if the current tendency will continue.

Imagine like this: If there will be only one country in the world, if there will be one dictator in that country, and if all the people in that country will be perfectly controlled by him, who will the enemy for the country or for the dictator? Then, this country or the dictator will lose the enemy. Will, then, their weapon business be perished? Probably, not. The weapon business will desperately attempt to survive. They will create enemies for them. If that will be the case, they might consider their people (i.e. ordinary civilians who are completely under controlled by the dictator) as their enemy, then. They might start killing these defenseless and obedient people, then. Or, another possible scenario might be that they will create “robot” enemies so that they will be able to destroy their “enemies”. Then, it means that the weapon business will create/produce both weapons and robot enemies at the same time. As such, their weapon business might continue to prosper.

But, my suggestion is that they should learn “peace business”. To that end, TRANSCEND (and any other peace organizations and peace-loving individuals in the world) should teach those weapon business people peace business. Peace business does not need any enemy. Rather, peace business will make friends. Peace business will surely prosper far more than weapon business that constantly requires the enemy.

If those people of weapon business learn that peace business is far more profitable than weapon business, will they still stick to their weapon business? Prove peace-loving people in the world that peace business is far more profitable than weapon business, by making peace-loving people themselves enormously rich! Become multi-billionaires? Not enough. Become multi-trillionaires! Become multi-quadrillionaires! Become multi-quintillionaires! Become nulti-sextillionaires! Become multi-octillionaires! Become multi-nonillionaires! Become multi-decillionaires! Or far richer! Prove it.

That is not a joke. That is a critical issue for peace. If human desire is infinite, use the desire for peace purposes, not for destructive/war/killing purposes.

Weapon business will continue as far as those people of weapon business do not understand that peace business is far more profitable than weapon business. This year, 2014, should be the initial year to that direction.
