2017 Nobel Prize for Peace Activists Announced Fri 6 Oct

Nobel´s peace prize is a wreck – serious journalists ask me whether Trump could win this year.

The nomination process is no longer secret – we have published all relevant and qualified nominations. It is against the committee’s rule of 50-year secrecy, but we feel it is the only way to get a discussion of candidates and get compliance with Alfred Nobel’s visionary ideals.

  1. It’s a bit late, but I wonder if anyone has predictions. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Iran Nuclear Deal won, as a major international negotiation that has worked, and which Trump will probably not certify, in the midst of his saber-rattling with North Korea.

What do you think would be the consequences?

Any other guesses of who might win?
