Why Are the American People so Passive and Accepting of War?

23 Oct 2019 – We have not experienced war on our soil since the Civil War. The closest we came was the destruction and deaths caused by the 9/11 attack and that wasn’t even implemented from a foreign nation. It was a homegrown incident to gather support for US military action in the Middle East.

We tend to tsk, tsk when we hear of the suffering caused by the fighting in other countries as the US “does battle against terrorism”, a worthwhile endeavor. The reality we refuse to recognize is that it is the US that is the biggest and most dangerous terrorist on the planet.

These bombings, killings, and destruction are not to fight terrorism, but the desire of the capitalist to control the world’s resources and markets. There is no country that is a threat to US security. Everyone recognizes that to fuck with the US can result in the obliteration of one’s country. And, the US has already demonstrated they will do just that if provoked.

We are being lied to and manipulated, all for the benefit of the capitalist class. We must begin to question and not take the official narrative at face value. The US has been responsible for the deaths of more that hundreds, if not millions of people in the past few decades.

WHEN IS ENOUGH, ENOUGH?
