Dr. Ravi P. Bhatia – TRANSCEND Media Service

What a lovely fruit for digestion
Easily available, cheap and delicious
People eat it for its taste and nutrition
Monkeys love it for the same reason

If you give a piece, you become a friend
If you don’t give it, they steal it from you

When I was a child, I ate so much of this fruit
Where did I get all the money
No money, just went to the fruit’s tree
Picked one, then two, then three

Where have all the trees disappeared
They have been destroyed by the economy
We don’t grow the fruit, we go to the bazaar
Put the necessary coins, pick up the handlebar

How simple, but you have destroyed the farmers
Not only their produce, also their families
Who beg on the street, who still remain hungry
O God forgive the economists, they know not their errors
