O jurista e professor da USP e do Mackenzie Alysson Mascaro fala à TV Carta Maior e ressalta o caráter revolucionário de uma efetiva crítica social do Estado. Ele acaba de lançar o livro ‘Estado e Forma Política’, apontado por Slavoj Žižek como ‘a obra mais importante do pensamento político marxista nas últimas décadas’.
Em virtude do IV Curso Livre de Marx/Engels, intelectuais e estudiosos discutiram a obra e legado marxistas. O evento foi realizado pela Boitempo Editorial, no Sesc Pinheiros, com a intenção de levantar questões sobre a atualidade do alemão Karl Marx.
Durante os debates, a Carta Maior entrevistou os professores convidados, com o objetivo de trazer à tona pontos que o pensamento de Marx suscita na análise da economia política, democracia, luta de classes e direito. As entrevistas serão publicadas ao longo dos próximos dias.
Alysson Mascaro é jurista e professor do Mackenzie e da Faculdade de Direito do Largo de São Francisco da USP. É livre-docente em Filosofia e Teoria Geral do Direito pela USP. Seu último livro, o elogiado “Estado e Forma Política”, trata do imbricamento entre Estado e formas sociais, gravitando não ao redor de instituições, mas sim de expressões da economia política.
Nesta entrevista, o jurista traz a necessidade de se investigar o Estado não como instituição a serviço da sociedade, mas a partir de seu funcionamento – como diz Mascaro, “entender o Estado para além dele, além de sua ideologia”.
Quando perguntado sobre se a Constituição de 1988 seria o real projeto da esquerda política hoje, como afirmou o cientista político André Singer, Alysson Mascaro faz ressalvas e ressalta o caráter revolucionário de uma efetiva crítica social do Estado.
