Zeki Ergas – TRANSCEND Media Service,
13 Apr 2015
I believe that the conditio sine qua non of a peaceful resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is taking the higher spiritual road. The Israelis, and their Jewish and other supporters around the world, must accept the reality that the creation of a Greater Israel is unachievable; they must withdraw from the occupied Palestinian land and make peace with the Palestinians even if that means sharing Jerusalem as the capital and a reasonable solution of the refugee problem.

Estudos de Paz e de Conflito, entre outros fatores civilizadores para os seres humanos, representam a receita, o mapa para o cume da montanha. 19 Mar 2015 – Every time Israel makes it into the news for the mass killing of Palestinians in Gaza, or of Turkish civilians in international waters, I propose a piece to the LRB. The TPP, if passed, would implement trade rules that make it illegal for governments to create and enforce regulations on everything from environmental standards, to wage and labor laws, to the duration of copyrights. A law prohibiting the sale of goods made in sweatshops in Vietnam could be ruled illegal, for example, as a barrier to trade.
