(Français) « Le monde malade de la finance »
Henri Houben | Investig’Action – TRANSCEND Media Service,
6 Nov 2017

One should fight a war with the weapons of truth and nonviolence. Gandhi said that “There is no god higher than truth.” According to his thoughts, nonviolence is ultimate solution of every kind of problem in the world.

The house in which we all can live has a quality-of-life floor with a minimum material living standard and a ceiling of maximum material personal wealth. It can be built by harnessing the boundless energy of inclusive populism, or “people-ism”. It would need to be constructed on the most stable foundation possible, one of “equi-archy” (term Galtung uses to describe an egalitarian structure, as opposed to hierarchy and oligarchy).

In this book, Dr. Olufemi Oluniyi takes a fresh look at Muslim-Christian violence which has become synonymous with the name of Northern Nigeria. This approach inevitably brings to the fore the culpability of the colonial government for the institutionalisation of inequality.

2 Nov 2017 – The extremely destructive and deadly firestorms in California were not simply an act of nature or a result of global warming. Extensive and compelling evidence implicates “climate intervention” programs (also known as “geoengineering”) as a major factor in the firestorm catastrophes. Geoengineering is the science term that applies to processes of climate intervention on a global scale. Climate engineering programs are completely disrupting natural weather and climate cycles all over the world, destroying the ozone layer, and decreasing the overall hydrological cycle (which, in turn, fuels record drought and firestorms).

The Commander-in-Chief then suggested the number of those who have fled has been exaggerated. The way events are framed and talked about have important political ramifications at all levels. It is the political feebleness of liberal analysis that makes it ideal as a discursive tool on the part of so many states and actors that wish to remain apathetic towards the Rohingya cause.

Human beings are social creatures whose survival depends on cooperation and mutual support. Only in an atmosphere of perceived scarcity, threats and unresolved conflicts do people divide and demonize “the other”. The common denominator in divide and conquer scenarios is increasing concentration of wealth and economic control in the hands of a greedy few to the detriment of poor and working families.

20 Oct 2017 – India follows a system of legal pluralism that allows different religious communities to be governed by their own codes of personal law. This has been seen as a way of protecting distinct communal identities and safeguarding the right of citizens to practice their faith, as enshrined in the constitution. But Muslims are governed by the personal law, which came into force in 1937.

Eppur si muove: Biomimetic embedding of N-tuple helices in spherical polyhedral – The contrast to the geocentric model of the solar system was framed by Galileo Galilei. His much-cited phrase, ” And yet it moves” (E pur si muove or Eppur si muove) was pronounced in 1633 when he was forced to recant his claims that the Earth moves around the immovable Sun rather than the converse. The argument here assumes that much more is based on circles than is conventionally held to be the case.

Gaia, nombre griego para la Tierra viva, no es un tema de la New Age, sino el resultado de minuciosas observaciones científicas.
