US Military Steps up Taliban-Approved Evacuation from Kabul

15 Jul 2020 was a disaster: 71,670 new cases of COVID-19, the second-worst day on record. Nearly 1,000 people lost their lives to the disease. With Texas hospitals at 90 percent capacity, mobile morgues are dispatched. In Florida, 54 hospitals have zero available beds in intensive care units. And one third of children who were tested in Florida were positive. Amid this death and economic devastation, the stock markets surged, with the Dow Jones closing up for the fourth day in a row. Goldman Sachs posted one of its most profitable quarters ever, doubling the predictions of analysts.
